- SMstormy mondaySep 30, 20261.0Snowbird canceled my room a week before I was scheduled to visit. The young man on the phone was going to only partially refund my deposit. His manager did correct this. So, while I liked Snowbird when I stayed last year, i won't be going back. Too bad
- CSCaroline StraussAug 31, 20261.0Reserved a room here for my birthday weekend. Everything went through on the computer. Then, my husband called to modify and add another night. Again, reservation was confirmed. Just got a call ten days before our visit that the computer shouldn't have booked us, and there is not a room available for us despite a human confirming the modification.
- JMJack MuellerAug 30, 20261.0We have been to this place multiple times. Mainly during our time when we lived in Atlanta, GA. This was under the 30 years’ private ownership of this accommodation. Now we have been there for the first time since it was acquired by a hotel management group. As a result, we realized that the place has lost its special and friendly family style. Also, the service has declined. We also realized that the new owner felt short in maintaining the place. Cobwebs at the air outlets. Doors which worn out from the outdoor weather conditions. Less maintenance in landscaping. As for service, the food option and quality have dropped. Again, it is still a good place but nothing to compare to the past.

I would come back just for the meals. Fantastic. Even picnic lunches for you to grab and go!! Would stay here again!!
- JSJim ShepherdJul 31, 20265.0You know how good a hospitality staff is when there are issues. A tornado knocking out power, blocking roads and sending umbrellas flying qualifies. Despite those “challenges” everyone at Snowbird pitched in to make things bearable for their guests. When we left (after a terrific limited-menu breakfast), they were still smiling, despite the fact everything not powered by generator was still out of commission. Scary storms (actually, tornadoes) were no match for their hospitality.
