- CJC J1 day ago4.0Great late-night stop with outstanding staff We were driving down the East Coast late at night after about 10 hours on the road from New York when we got hit with some pretty wild weather and torrential downpours near midnight. We called ahead to the Holiday Inn Express in Roanoke Rapids and Mr. Paul let us know there was availability—and then went the extra mile by keeping the front desk open an extra 30 minutes so we could get there safely. He welcomed us with genuine, friendly service and made us feel taken care of after a long, stressful drive in the rain. That kind of customer service really stands out. Room was clean and comfortable for a quick overnight. Would stay again if we’re passing through. Thanks, Mr. Paul.

- LCLarissa ColangeloAug 15, 20265.0Great location right off 95. We have stated at this hotel a few times. It is a great stop over night to Myrtle Beach from New Jersey. The staff checking in was very nice and our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had good choices, cereal, oatmeal, Cinnabons, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, yogurt and fresh pancakes. Mr Jerry who works the kitchen went above and beyond to assist me with making pancakes and even delivered them to me at my table and took our garbage. He was very friendly. Made our morning a pleasant start! I recommend this hotel and we will be staying here again next year. Forgot to mention Ruby Tuesday so close we walked there for dinner

Really really, Clean, no offensive cleaner smells, comfortable bed, soft well fitting sheets w/no odors, no stale smell on sheets or towels, good breakfast w/reasonable hours, comfortable area to sit in or near breakfast area. good parking Small suggestions: Like most hotels, they could use more towel bars & hooks (esp if they want people to use their towels more than once), bedside table on both sides of bed & a mix of soft & hard pillows.
- LZLisa ZanellaJul 30, 20265.0Unlike most hotels you may stop at for a road trip this one was outstanding. Staff greeted everyone with a smile, politeness, and they shared contagious happiness. The options for breakfast and the selections in the store were top notch. My breakfast was better than some diners could’ve served and it was kept very well. Rooms were neat and clean with stocked soaps lotions and towels. My bed was so comfortable and if i ever come through Roanoke again i will be back.
