  I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I got locked out of my apartment after coming back from a trip and was stranded along with my cat. The staff at this Holiday Inn were so kind and had a room ready in no time. The hotel was clean and quiet, they had snacks, microwaveable food, and complementary breakfast. Staying there turned what would have been a really bad day into a nice night. Special shoutouts to Kevin, Shaun, and another lady whose name I didn’t get but she was wearing a black blazer with a pink blouse. I will recommend this place to everyone I know whenever they are looking for a place to stay around Raleigh.

  We are so grateful to have ended up at this hotel, everything was well taken care of and the front desk workers were extremely helpful and kind. Thank you to Shaun especially for going above and beyond to help us when we needed it!! We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

  Shaun was incredibly helpful and thoughtful! He moved us to a first-floor room to make things easier and safer for our dogs. The hotel location was safe and convenient, and the room was very clean and spacious. We also appreciated the small dog area for convenient potty breaks. Overall, a great stay and excellent service!

  Our experience at this Holiday Inn was extremely disappointing. Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 p.m. We had been awake since 2:00 a.m. traveling and were really looking forward to getting into our room to rest. We were told to come back at 1:00 p.m. for an early check-in, but when we arrived, our room wasn’t ready. We tried again at 2:00 p.m. and were told the same thing. When we returned at 3:15 p.m., there was a line of more than 50 people stretching from the lobby down the hallway. We then waited over an hour just to check in only to find our room was still not ready. The entire check-in process was disorganized and incredibly frustrating. After a long day of travel, this was the last thing we expected. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that we will not be staying here again. Beds were wonderful- comfy, nice, and clean. The bathroom door would not close or open and wood pieces were all over the floor, shower was not cleaned and gross. This was room 230. We told the front desk but they didn’t care much and gave us a really hard time to get a late checkout. Breakfast was not terrible but there was not much left when we went down and there was an hour left of breakfast hours. More than likely won’t be back.

  An unexpected layover in Raleigh threw a wrench in our travel plans, and traveling with my dog always makes finding last-minute accommodations that much trickier, So many hotels either turn pets away outright or bury you in restrictive policies and extra fees. This place turned out to be exactly what we needed. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm and genuinely easy to work with. There was no fuss, no judgment, no complicated paperwork about my dog — they just made it simple and welcoming, which is such a relief when you’re already frazzled from an unplanned stop. My dog settled right in without a hitch, and I really appreciated that they’d thought of pet owners’ needs: they have a dedicated outdoor potty area, which made those late-night and early-morning walks so much more convenient than hunting for a patch of grass in an unfamiliar area. Beyond the pet-friendliness, the little touches added up. Breakfast was decent — nothing extravagant, but a solid way to start the day before getting back on the road. And I was pleasantly surprised by the exercise room, which was well-equipped and a nice option for shaking off the stiffness of travel. All in all, what could have been a stressful, disruptive layover turned into a genuinely pleasant stay. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and it’s clear this place understands what travelers — especially those of us with four-legged companions actually need. Highly recommend.
