Dirty vents in AC, stained carpets and smelly rooms. Needs better maintence and updated carpet. Beds were clean but soft. The front desk help, Zach was helpful and did what he could to make our stay better. He changed our room and got a different desk chair that was functioning correctly.

I stayed because I was in town meeting contractors for renovations on a property i recently purchased. I will say check in was seemless! The building appearance outside and in the lobby was well kept. The size of my room for the price was good. The room was very clean but the carpet definitely needs shampooing or updated. But overall is was very clean and comfortable. I liked the balcony off the room which wasn't expected but a nice feature. The dove products were also a great plus as well. I will say though, on one of evenings there was a large group that were very obnoxious and slamming their doors for hours and banging into the walls and kept converging in the hallway yelling and carrying on and than by 7am were back to being overly loud. I wish staff would keep an eye on large groups and monitor their hallways for other guests peace. I paid well over 400$ nearly 500 for 3 nights for a decent place to stay in Plymouth so I definitely expect a bit more from a place than the local run down motels and the ppl who flock to places like that. There were many other non locals staying there and the staff should definitely be more aware of how guests are behaving and keeping the rowdy people at bay. It definitely doesn't seem like a place where such would be happening buuuut it only takes a few create issues. Definitely suggest security or staff keep this in mind.

The location is great if you want to be close to the outer banks without breaking the budget. The staff was friendly. The room was just ok. Definitely needs some repairs. The outer door to the balcony needs new seals, light and air came in through the edges. The baseboard in one spot had been taped down and the tape was coming off and there was nail sticking out, could seriously cut someone. The hotel room door needs work too, the latch is so loose that it doesn’t feel like the door shuts. The towels had stains on them and one of the bedspreads had dirt on the edges (by where your head would be) wasn’t sure it had been washed or was just stained. The carpet is very dirty, either needs to be replaced or cleaned. The door that adjoins the 2 rooms is not soundproof at all, there was a huge gap under the door so you can hear and see light. Our neighbors on the last night had a baby that when cried literally sounded like was in our room and the poopy diaper they had wafted under the door into our room. It’s older and needs some tlc a d hopefully they do it cause it was nice other than that. There is mention of dogs barking in other posts and we experienced that too, it’s on the backside of the building and the house behind the building has dogs and they barked off and on, was not non stop though. They did what dogs do, they bark. The beds were hard and the pillows not so great.

Edit: Dear manager, if you think that being without hot water for 2 days and without ANY water in the room is "addressing a matter promptly" then.... I need to look up the meaning of the word "prompt" again. Thank you kindly for your professional response. I dont recommend staying here. I started with hot water dripping under my sink when the water was shut off. The hotel didnt even bother coming in to empty out the filling water bucket. On the last day of my stay they turned the water off to my room so there was NO water. No flushing the toilet, no taking a shower, no washing your hands. It was a nice surprise after coming to the room after a 14 hour work day. The ice machine is covered in mold and other forms of life not know to humans. The manager promised extra comp points but I never saw those. At the beginning of the week I was given 10k points (this hotel costs 30k points, so pretty much an insult of a compensation). Water pressure (when I had some cold water) was a sad trickle. The bath towels had holes in them. Anyways it was a rough stay and id stay somewhere else if I were you, even if you have to drive a little further.
