Room looked unclean. By the time we checked in and had dinner, it was late. It's so disappointing being far from home and not wanting to lay your head down to sleep because of the conditions of the room. Soo disappointed
- DTDarlene TurnerSep 26, 20263.0On the first night, an unexpected alarm wakes us up at 6:30am. It was a fire alarm due to poor ventilation in the kitchen. There were roaches in the hallways of the hotel. Our bathroom was not cleaned properly. There was hair and mildew in the shower. The cart in the bathroom had several large rust spots in it. All the soap dispensers(body wash, conditioner, hand soap, etc.)were extremely low. The carpet in the room was loaded with sand. We've never experienced a stay at any Holiday Inn like this before. Very poor housekeeping. We will not be staying at this location again.
- JKJennifer KenyonSep 14, 20264.0Hotel needs some renovations and repairs. Overall, rooms were clean and comfortable though. No real complaints other than the hotel is starting to show its age. The staff was friendly, breakfast was basic, but plentiful. For being sold out, it was fairly quiet, which was great! If being directly on the beach is a priority then I highly recommend this location. Just a note on th3 differnce between ocean view and oceanfront when booking-ocean view rooms are 3rd floor, just high enough to see over the dunes. Oceanfront rooms are floors 4 and 5. If you can, opt for a higher floor! We were floor 3.
