  Perfect spot if you want to ride all the motorcycle roads in this area like the tail of the dragon, Cherohala Skyway and the gauntlet

  What is the most important thing in a hotel? Being welcomed and cared for on the way to your room, and then receiving a room that was thoughtfully cleaned and made ready. I decided to check into this hotel after an unusually rude experience at the Valley River Casino Hotel down the road. The best of Murphy is right here. It was nice to be greeted, to even connect and laugh a bit, and then check into a room that is flawless. You can have confidence, especially if you are a business traveler, staying here.

  The rooms were VERY clean but a little out of date. We had a pet with us and had to stay in a smoking room. We are former smokers and didn't think the smell would be that bad but it was completely overwhelming to us and after our two-day stay, everything we had brought into the room reeked of smoke. The arms of the furniture were shredded as if a cat lived there, and all of the vinyl on the desk chair had flaked off, which was a little off-putting. All this being said, the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and it really felt like they care about the guests. It was quiet and safe and an easy drive to downtown Murphy. Bed was comfortable (we use a Purple mattress at home) and there were plenty of pillows and fluffy towels. I would probably stay here again if I could get a non-smoking pet friendly room. Its not luxury by any stretch but it is a solid & affordable option.
