Initially I felt pretty negative about this hotel because I sent messages after booking and also emailed the hotel, but even after more than 24 hours nobody replied. That felt very unprofessional, and honestly that’s the main reason for the 4 stars.
The hotel itself was very quiet, there were not many people, and overall it was clean. It wasn’t dirty, but there was a thin layer of dust in the room. It seemed like the room was cleaned after the previous guests checked out, but not refreshed again before new guests arrived.
That being said, the hotel was comfortable, had decent soundproofing, a very comfortable bed, and a good shower.
Breakfast had a surprisingly large selection. It’s not the healthiest food, but since it was included and we didn’t pay extra, I have no complaints.
Would I come back again? Yes. The staff was friendly and smiling, and overall the hotel was clean and peaceful.
If management starts paying more attention to emails and Booking messages, this would easily be a 5-star stay.
We stay here when we go to shows at Ovens Auditorium. It's about 10 minutes away, on the same road. McDonald's and Cracker Barrel are nearby. The rooms are always clean. No complaints.

Good clean double-queen room. On trafficky main street. Indoor pool. Pantry with food and drinks for sale.

Serious Violation of Privacy and Completely Unacceptable Stay
My experience at the Holiday Inn in Charlotte, NC was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. While I was out on Saturday afternoon, staff entered my room without permission, even though I had a Do Not Disturb sign clearly placed on the door. Without any notice, call, email or message, they went through my room, packed all of my belongings, and removed everything. This included my personal underwear that I had left in the shower to dry, which was handled without my consent.
I was an active guest with a fully paid two-night reservation (I made the reservation directly with the hotel, not with a third party) There was absolutely no reason for anyone to enter my room or touch my belongings. I would have gladly moved rooms if needed, but instead they chose to violate my privacy and handle my personal items as if I was no longer staying there.
To make matters worse, when I returned around 11:30 PM, no one had attempted to contact me, and I was told there were no rooms available for me. I had to stand at the front desk trying to figure out what happened, only to be eventually placed in a room that belonged to another guest who had not yet arrived.
That room was clearly not properly cleaned or ready. There was trash in the bathroom, a used towel next to the sink, the toilet paper looked used and was left partially on the floor, and the beds looked like someone had already been lying on them. It felt like I was placed into a room that had already been used, which was completely unacceptable and unsanitary.
As a solo female traveler, this situation made me feel unsafe, uncomfortable, disrespected and completely disregarded as a guest. This was a serious failure in basic hotel standards, communication, cleanliness, and respect for guest privacy. I would not recommend this property under any circumstances!!

This is a really good one.! Location, break fast, amenities, quality is good. I preferred staying again. I will give 5 Star rating to Chris, he is an amazing person. He took care of everything without hesitation.!
