  We were told our balcony overlooked creek..no creek. Nice rooms. Great location. We did not get to use pur points!!

  We stayed here for a wedding in Maggie Valley, and while this isn't the type of hotel we usually book (we're from the Boston area and typically stay at Hilton or Marriott properties), it ended up being a great choice for our trip. The location was very convenient to the wedding venue, and the price was hard to beat. One of our favorite little touches was the two rocking chairs right outside our room. It was so nice to sit outside in the morning with a cup of coffee and again in the evening to relax and enjoy the mountain air. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything we needed for a short stay was there. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping team was also very kind. Overall, it was a good value for the money, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, convenient place to stay in Maggie Valley.

  Do not recommend. In the bathroom every corner has a build up of junk. The bath tub has dark stains in it so you could not tell if it was even clean. Has rocking chairs in front of every room which is a nice touch but everything could use a nice power wash to make you feel more comfortable. The clerk(maybe owner??) had an odor of cigar which don’t bother me but walking across the parking lot there was at least 10 cigar butts scattered as we walked, shows how much they care about the place.

  Do NOT stay at this Best Western! I was quoted a price of $83 plus tax a night so decided to stay 3 nights as it was convenient. Upon checking out the manager Ben "AJ" Patel charged us $179 for the second night and $199 plus taxes for the third without telling me up front about his ridiculous weekend rates! The place was not clean, they were always out of orange juice and other items for the small breakfast, the hot tub room was disgusting and looks like it has been out of order for months, and there were family members with kids running around of the managers and workers. Called the Best Western cooperate to complain and they promised to call me back within 4 days later. They never did. Eight days later I called them back and both the rep and his supervisor said there is nothing they can do even though I have been a preferred customer of Best Western for at least 30 years. So just a warning DO NOT STAY THIS PLACE!
