  The front desk person who checked me in was not amused. He was borderline rude. But, the room was fairly large and I had a refrigerator and a microwave. Room service started out good, but as the days passed, they would either only change the trash and not touch anything else. Or wouldn't make the bed, but give me more towels. It was always either or, not both. I don't think they ever changed my sheets the 10 days I was there.

  The name says Vineyards and they advertise Childress Vineyards, maybe it's my fault for having my expectations too high for ihg but for a place that has Vineyards in the name, I feel like the atmosphere could have been better. The hotel is like any other IHG express and doesn't lean into the vineyard atmosphere so it was a bit disappointing. But it's a ihg hotel so you get what you expect. Oh and the night receptionist had some kinda grumpy attitude, so don't expect the warmest welcome after a long day of travel... Forgot to mention, they are dog friendly so that's a bonus.

  SCAM ALERT! 🚨 STOLE MY MONEY! I paid for a weekend in one of the suites for work. I purchased May 15 - May 17 2026. I arrive at the location and they had a smell and the front desk clerk was very flustered! It was as if they gave my room away and he didn’t know how to act. I told him well let me go check the room first. 🧐It was absolutely DISGUSTING! I own a corporate cleaning company and I’m aware no one’s perfect! There was pub hairs in the bathroom and some brown substance I was scared to get close to. The smell was horrendous. Going through the main quarters there was sticky substance which had now stuck to the bottom of my shoes. I go to the front desk with PHOTOS and ask for a refund or another room that’s clean. He then proceeds to tell me what I had figured. There were no more rooms. He told me they would refund me. It’s almost FOUR MONTHS later I DONT HAVE MY MONEY! The manager ducks me and I call every two weeks. Literally STOLE MY MONEY!

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Lexington for one night while attending an event at Childress Vineyards, and we had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, and our room was comfortable. The bed and pillows made for a great night's sleep, and everything was well maintained. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been a shuttle service to and from Childress Vineyards. It would be such a convenient amenity for guests visiting the winery. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again the next time we're in the Lexington area.
