  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I specifically called ahead and made it clear that I was traveling with a service dog, yet I was still charged a $150 pet fee!!! And when I called to clarify they said I lied!! When I have records I called ! What makes this even more upsetting . I’ve stayed at other hotels during this trip without any issues, so being hit with an unexpected $150 charge was incredibly frustrating and completely changed my experience. This wasn’t just about the money. It felt humiliating and unfair to have to deal with this after I had already made the effort to call ahead and explain my situation. That unexpected charge also took money away from my travel budget and affected the rest of my trip. I’ve already contacted IHG because I believe this situation deserves to be addressed. Unfortunately, this hotel left me feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously. I would strongly encourage anyone traveling with a service dog to confirm everything in writing before staying here, because my experience was anything but welcoming. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel, and after this experience, I will seriously reconsider where I spend my money within the IHG family.

  Great place to stay. Safe, clean, great price! Have stayed several times, will stay again!! Someone who works there or is regularly there has left these beautiful painted rocks for everyone to enjoy! Pool and fitness centers both spotless and make for an even better stay!

  Stayed at this location for a few days recently for a wedding. My experience with IHG Holiday Inn Express locations has been hit or miss but this was definitely a hit. From the moment I walked in, it looked clean and well kept and smelled fresh. The room was comfortable and pretty well maintained. It included the standard contenential breakfast options you would expect ...nothing mind blowing but good for what it was. Front desk and hotel staff were pleasant and helpful during my stay. This location is only 15-20 minutes from the heart of downtown Winston-Salem. I Plan to stay again the next time I am in this area.

  This review is not in reference to a stay but it is in reference to Customer Service. I entered the location in Kernersville, NC to inquire about a meeting room. Upon entering the establishment I notice how beautiful the decor is, how clean and sanitary everything was. Natalie was assisting someone on the phone but she greeted me with a welcoming smile. Listening to her tone and seeing her mannerism as she assisted the customer reflected her Outstanding Customer Service Skills. When she completed her task she assisted me with allowing me to view the 2 beautiful Meeting Rooms. I will definitely call Tristen tomorrow to get more information on reserving one of these rooms. I was truly blessed today to be assisted by Natalie. This is for future FYI if there is ever an opportunity for Natalie to advance within the company she will definitely be an asset.   New hotel but several issues. Door keys went dead several times during my stay and no hot water. I spoke to the folks at the front desk several times but no resolution with the hot water. I will move back to the Hampton when in the area.
