  Very disappointing experience. The room was clearly advertised with free cancellation before 4:00 PM on Oct. 9, which was one of the main reasons I chose it. During payment, the system had problems, so I tried several times. Somehow, the final booking ended up being non-cancellable without making that change clear to me. Later, when I needed to cancel because my plans changed, they refused. If the booking had clearly said “non-refundable” from the beginning, I simply would not have booked it. What makes it feel even more misleading is that the offer constantly showed “only 1 room left,” creating pressure to book quickly. I feel tricked by the whole booking process and am extremely disappointed. I would not book here again.

  We normally stay at best western every year in Kernersville. The this trip we are extremely disappointed! You walk in and the smells of cigarette smoke hits you hard! Our room stinks of mold and mildew and the ceiling has very visible mold. Paid for stay as park of a package deal and could not afford to cancel. I have video also to show in depth the mold but site unable to upload video!

  good things first; the woman maintaining breakfast was so incredibly helpful and kind, we genuinely appreciate her. the housekeepers i interacted with were all very kind and willing to give whatever i asked for, especially when i explained why i needed so many extra towels (shower issues) or when they didn’t know much english but they had a translator app ready to assist. thank you to these women. i stayed for 3 nights; the rooms were okay, and that’s the best you could say. I loved the water pressure of the shower, but there was genuinely no way to turn the head that wouldn’t result in the floor being flooded, so we just resigned to keeping extra towels on hand to clean that up each night. the phone in my room (231) was broken, which we noticed and reported the same evening got there to a young guy who looked at me with the straightest face and said “wow, that’s unfortunate” 😂, and it stayed that way, didn’t get replaced nor fixed, for my entire stay. the curtain for a window facing someone’s home across the street has a huge tear in it. the alarm clock was broken, with the front face decal detached and placed in front of it as if it was left that way. there were spider webs on the lamp fixtures in the hallway that were present from the night we checked in to the morning we checked out. things in my shower were broken, the front desk doesn’t carry bar soap, and you must get all drinking water from said front desk. i work in a 5 star hotel, and these things simply don’t happen with the diligent and detailed staff i work with; however, these are very basic details that clearly go noticed by the guest, yet unnoticed by housekeeping and management? all of these pictures were taken within two hours of my arrival, yet not a single employee on site noticed? does anyone walk these rooms, to notice that the shower holder for the body wash was broken, so it was left in the shower with the broken piece still attached, with jagged edges that could cut someone? in no way do i feel like i got good or even equal value for what i paid.

  Molded pipes sink water smell like sewer brushed my teeth before I looked under and instantly threw up and I’m pregnant.

  Nothing but problems from the start. First, there was food in the fridge from the last guest. Then, I went to have a relaxing soak in Whirlpool in my bathroom and the jets don't work. I emailed the hotel GM, no response. Then I go to use the pool and it's closed. That's something you should be told at check in, especially if it's 100 degrees outside (and it was). The second day it was 88. And to top it all off, the pull out sofa bed doesn't have any bedsing on it, gross!!! Nothing like laying in someone else's funk. My first time out of Michigan in 15 years, and I think I'm just going to.stay there from now on.
