  Candlewood Suites For The Connivence It’s Great Close to Birkdale Village and Restaurants. For This Area Of Huntersville It Was Not Kept. This Hotel Is Older and Everything Is Out Of Date. Staff Is Amazing “Munich” Front Desk Attendee Goes Above and Beyond and Great. This Is Not A Him Problem But A Candlewood Suites Issue As This Hotel Is Run Down. The Plus Is The Amenities. Fresh Coffee. Free Of Service for Washer and Dryer. During My Duration Of Stay I’ve Experienced Disappointment. Upon arrival, I was given a room where the television was not working. Because of this issue, I had to go through the inconvenience of changing rooms after I had already arrived and settled in. Unfortunately, the second room was also unacceptable. Upon entering, I discovered that the shower was dirty, and the overall condition of the room appeared unkept and poorly maintained. The room did not feel properly cleaned or prepared for a new guest. The condition of the accommodations was especially disappointing considering that guests expect a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained room when staying at an IHG property. Having to change rooms Three Times, Talk To Three IHG Agents, due to a malfunctioning television and my room was already an inconvenience, but arriving in the replacement room and finding it dirty and unkept made the experience even more frustrating.   Should’ve checked the reviews. The room was fine, however wipe your faucets before brushing or washing your face. It’s was filthy, to the point I couldn’t stop gagging. Also for $100, your hallways shouldn’t smell like smoke. Do better!

  My husband stayed there for work. He is not very picky at all. He travels every week of the entire year. But.. this is very nasty and smells awful. I worked for years with corporate hotels. I cannot believe IHG doesn’t pull their flags on this hotel or at least do a walk through and a come to Jesus about the standards. This is simply not up to par with the standards I was given for this brand. From my information, this is the equivalent of an old run down Days Inn. I truly hope I HG understands the importance of customer loyalty. Once bitten twice shy.

  My stay at the Candlewood Suites in Huntersville was just excellent. The beds, as always, are super soft and the weight of the covers is perfect. I travel for work so I am always trying to find IHG hotels because I know what to expect. Reasonable price, great comfy beds, a work area for me to do my school work as well as finishing up my daily reports. I truly appreciate the cozy, homey feel of their establishments. They have really good coffee too. If you travel a lot like I do, that becomes important because you don't always have time for Dunkin or Starbucks. Totally recommend any IHG hotel. It's worth the money and they the staff are always polite, professional, and pleasant. Thank you!

  Never posted a worse rating. The hotel is old and dilapidated. Microwave turntable didn't work. The whole second floor smelled. I wouldn't stay here again. The location was great. It was close to I-77 and close to a lot of restaurants. That's the only highlight.
