We thought this hotel was fabulous. More like a motel as you can park very close to your room. The Oak restaurant on site was 5 stars. Planning our next trip.

We love to stay here. The people are all friendly and helpful. It is literally by itself in the middle of nowhere, but still close to the city. The restaurant (The Oak Steakhouse) is one of the best in the area and is really popular - you will probably need a reservation to eat there.

Really cute hotel that came highly recommended. Employees were helpful and accommodating. Dinner at Oak was delicious. The room was spacious, the bed drew mixed reviews (husband didn't love the soft mattress was.) The view from our room wasn't anything to write home about. The biggest problem: A stinky sewage smell that made our porch (and a good chunk of the property) unusable. If they can address this, it will make the experience much more enjoyable for future guests.

We did not have a good experience. The price was very high, almost $675 per night, for a very average room. The shower leaked horribly completely flooding the bathroom, and the air did not work well enough to cool the room. There was no maid service, and we had to ask for glasses, extra towels and toilet paper. Worst of all, we were there at the end of May yet got charged last week with what was apparently the other half of our lodging fee- Two Months Later. We'd thought all this time we'd paid in full. I left multiple messages on various voice mails asking for help sorting this out, but no one bothered to call back. Very disappointing all the way around.

Such a delightful place. Rooms are overlay wonderful with that MCM flair. Recommend upgrading from non-standard room (Hemlock, Granite or Kelsey). The restaurant “Oak Steakhouse” is the very best with a fantastic bar as well. One more note - the hotel toiletries by Grown Alchemist is fabulous - quality products. Plus tea and coffee in the room is a special touch with the Even though there are few things that could be improved like cosmetic details in the rooms, (peeling paint on bottoms of bathroom doors, cracked tile, and worn and tired carpeting) - overall - it’s a great getaway spot and will go back for sure!
