  Great experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The accessible room was comfortable and had been renovated. Furnishings and decor were updated. The breakfast was very good and offered surprising variety. They have a pool though I didn’t use it.

  I stayed at the Hickory Best Western on multiple occasions and up until my last 2 stays it was a pleasure, however my last 2 stays were anything but pleasant. I have made multiple attempts to contact management regarding this issue with no response. The amount of bugs 🐛 in both my rooms was disgusting to say the least.

  Went with my husband to a class he had to take at the convention center. This is in a cluster of several hotels - this being the worst. Dirty room, we had 2 towels and a washcloth til we asked for more from the very sweet maid. Hair in the shower, the carpet literally felt sticky - like you needed to keep your shoes on, TV remote was literally impossible to navigate, small fridge had shelves torn out, the air/heat smelled hot electrically, stains on lampshade. Just felt dirty. 2nd floor had beer cans strewn around on walkway, cigarette butts and apparently long term folks on 1st floor who were yelling and screaming at their young son as we left this morning - as we walked up the stairs when we arrived, there were two cats sitting in their window. The pool was filthy and the pool house next to it was dirty as well (from above). The final straw was when I turned the water on in the tub last night for a bath and then sink this morning to try to brush my teeth and there was air in it and then the water ran black. Wouldn't ever stay here again, this place has seen its better days, it needs money put back into it. Did want to say though that the desk staff and housekeeping couldn't have been sweeter.

  Great experience great office personnel. I had two crews that needed a room quickly because we had to work later than expected and couldn’t travel home two days in a row. They got me a room in less than five minutes in the process was super smooth thank you best Western for saving the day.

  My family and I stay annually at BW Hickory to attend FAITHFEST. The staff is always accommodating and attend to any needs that may arise. There was a slight issue with the shower faucet and a/c but both were immediately repaired upon reporting. Bedding and pillows are always clean & comfortable. Breakfast is always a plus due to freshly made sandwiches (BEC or SEC) fresh fruit, the yogurt and waffle bar and plenty of pastries and other breakfast items.
