The Best Western in Hendersonville was exactly what I was hoping for. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff made check-in quick and welcoming after a long day of traveling. As a happily married dad of three, I know a good hotel isn't about fancy extras—it's about getting the basics right. A clean room, a quiet night's sleep, friendly people, and the confidence that everything is taken care of. This place delivered. Whether you're in town for the mountains, a weekend getaway, or just passing through, this is an easy place to recommend. The best hotels don't try to impress you with gimmicks. They simply make you feel glad you booked the room. This Best Western did exactly that.

    Bed bugs everywhere. Front desk and manager is very rude and talked to me terrible....My daughter is very allergic to bedbug bites, they told me none of that was their problem.....my daughter had to discard our clothes, took a shower and the towels were full of bedbugs......the linens on bed did not smell clean.......

    I was originally going to stay here 5 nights. We arrived after midnight the first night due to our flight being delayed. The gentleman at the front desk was polite. We requested a first floor room, but were told they couldn’t accommodate. No problem, I understood. We grabbed some food and returned around 1:00 AM. There were a few parking spots near our room left, but multiple spots were taken by work vehicles, work trucks, and trailers. Some even had cones out to save their spots. I’m pretty sure people are living in this hotel. As we pulled in a spot people were sitting hanging outside and were acting odd. I quickly got my stuff and went up to my room. As soon as I walked in an awful smell got me right away. It reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. The AC was blasting, I mean it was probably 50 degrees in that room. My senior mother and I entered, and we locked the door. The door lock is loose. This made us not feel very safe, but at the time of night it was we were going to just stick it out. Then loud music began playing. This continued until about 3:00 AM. I was so tired though I didn’t even have energy to call the desk. Even with the bug I found in my bed. I finally fell asleep, and got the worst sleep on a bed that was hard and lumpy. We woke up, and I noticed there was not a smoke detector on the wall. Now I’ve decided I can’t stay in this room. There are multiple safety concerns. We get our stuff and put it in the car. We drive around to the front desk. While my mother gets her breakfast I explain the situation. The lady at the desk seems unsurprised by what I’m telling her and not the least bit concerned. She asked, “Did you call the front desk? Because otherwise there’s nothing we can do.” I explain that I hadn’t, but that I’d like a change in rooms to one up front if possible for the rest of my stay. She says she’d have to discuss it with the manager and someone would contact me by noon. I asked how they’d contact me, she said they’d call the room. I explained that I would not be returning to that room, and that I’d be expecting someone to call my cell phone and left my number. By 11:00 I hadn’t heard from them, so I called. I was told they couldn’t accommodate a change in rooms, and they couldn’t cancel the reservation because they can’t change the date of checkout since I booked through a third party. I call the third party who contacts them. The third party tells me that Best Western is refusing to refund the second night (which was that evening) because it was past the cancellation window. This went back and forth. Finally I agreed to pay 2 nights and the third party would give me a small refund (part of the amount) for the second since I wasn’t returning. A few days later I look at what I was refunded and Best Western charged me more than what two nights should have been. I contact the third party again, as this hotel will not work with you. They reached out and Best Western told them they will not refund any more because it was not unsafe and that’s not the reason for checking out. Honestly, this hotel is crooks. I will be letting everyone know, including people I know in Hendersonville, not to stay here and how terrible the management is.

    Because of a change in plans , I did not actually stay here but I want to give a shout out to Kara for outstanding customer service!!! She was kind and knowledgeable and went out of her way to help me!!!

    We have been staying at Best Western Hotels for years every chance we get to go on a trip which isn't often. We were extremely disappointed in our stay at this location. The room was honestly run down and gross. The beds felt like laying on a board and there was a weird vent above the shower that creeped us out. The room felt like a dungeon with barely any lighting. On top of all of this it honestly just felt unsafe. There was some shady stuff going on in the room beside of us. Not sure if it was just drugs or what it was but it made us uncomfortable since we had our daughter with us. The pictures they have posted online are not at all what the room we stayed in looked like. We ended up leaving a night early because we just didn't feel safe. Hated to cut our trip short but after being kept up for 2 nights in a row with whatever was going on in the room beside of us we just decided to come home. I know they can't control what the other guests do but the condition of the room they can control. Spraying some bleach in a room is not cleaning.
