  This place is in desperate, desperate need of updating and renovating. The room although seemingly clean, was grubby with worn off paint, poorly done repairs where the ceiling had fallen apart in the bathroom, mold on the tiles in the bathroom, hair on the shower wall, the carpeting looked filthy although it could have been the color of the carpet. The window blind didn't work and was literally shredding and falling apart and looked absolutely so filthy I wouldn't want to touch it. Bathroom was large , although it was the old-fashioned traditional tub and not a shower as we have found in most Holiday Inn Express hotels we have stayed at in the past The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel itself needs a lot of help. It took three tries for the manager to get the key to work to open the door to the room. We like the Holiday Inn Express brand especially because due to allergies I need a pet and smoke-free Hotel, but this one needs to have corporate look at it.

  Usually when I visit the Holliday inn it doesn’t have any problems with clean and fresh rooms. It is the room 104. Also the bed linen isn’t very fresh. The bedding quality is just cheap synthetic material.

  Extremely disappointing stay!!! The room had visible bugs/cockroaches, insects coming through the AC unit, unclean linens, and a strong mildew smell. We reported the issue immediately and requested a room change, but the hotel said they were fully booked. The only action taken was spraying the room, which did not resolve the problem. We had booked for two nights But we ultimately left after the first night due to the unsanitary conditions but were still told we would be charged for the unused night. and after back and forth dispute they agreed to refund 50% for the unused night. which is still not fair to the experience we had. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

  Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. It’s well kept. My only critique is that while the location is very convenient in proximity to the place I visited, it’s located by a truck stop and an older, shady looking motel. The area just looks kind of sketchy. However I didn’t experience any issues with theft or any sort of problems. I’d recommend this hotel to others looking for a decent place at an affordable price.
