    I feel really bad about saying this. The staff were amazing. I have to make that really clear but the room was awful. I actually left at 11pm tonight (after being there for an hour) and found another place. Its not about the money and I didn't say anything. Just left. I felt really bad and I avoid confrontation face to face. I didnt want to make a big deal to the staff. Its not front desk fault. The room smelt like cat urine. I didnt know animals were there. It was clean by sight. But I got into the bed and the blankets, pillows, and the bed itself was just gross. I could tell it was washed so I dont know if it was detergent they used or what but I felt like I was being smothered by the sheet (it felt soaked) but it was dry. Then I kept feeling like something was crawling over me. The bed itself was so bumpy and noisy. It sounded like it was going to break. Then we saw aunts on the ground and that was it for me. The hallways were dirty and stained. Then I saw a missing wall covered in boards. I didnt see it when I walked in. So yeah the price was cheap and there was a reason for that. I never thought that quality would be at a Best Western.

    I wanted to take a moment to recognize D’Shaun at the front desk for the incredible service he provided during my stay. From my very first interaction with him, he went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely taken care of. D’Shaun was professional, patient, kind, and attentive. What stood out most was that his service never felt like he was simply doing his job — he truly cared about creating a great experience. He listened, helped with a positive attitude, and made every interaction easy and enjoyable. In a world where great customer service is becoming harder to find, employees like D’Shaun deserve to be celebrated. He is exactly the type of person guests remember long after they leave, and he represents your hotel and brand in the best possible way. I hope leadership recognizes the impact D’Shaun has on your guests and the value he brings to your team. He is truly an asset, and my stay was better because of him.

    Rooms are reasonability priced. They were clean. Bathroom is small. Had a fridge, microwave and single cup coffee maker. Furniture is small. Beds are so so. Ac worked well. Biggest issue and for me it huge. If you advertise you have a pool but it is closed and you don't tell your guests a head of time, it should be a criminal offense and the punishment should be a free x number of days in the future and a full refund.. Save me the call first line. It is 2026 most people use an app or site. The place was quiet once in your room. The TV was newer and it says you can use Netflix or YouTube but the TV doesn't connect to a router or something according to the front desk.

    When we arrived, we were really disappointed that the swimming pool was closed, while being advertised as open on the hotel website. It was full of green algae, floating garbage and frogs serenading each other. We also paid for the early check in ahead of time and the room wasn't ready, the front desk staff seemed clueless. During our stay we didn't have a single room service, in fact they took our dirty towels and never gave us the clean ones. After bringing it up at the front desk, they gave us towels and promised room service next day. Needless to say, it never happened. We had to take out our own garbage. The garbage at the exit doors was overflowing, all over the ground with extra garbage bags just laying by the doors. Instead of the elevator, it was blocked out "under construction" pit. The ice machine was out of order. The breakfast staff doesn't refill utensils and plates, they just walk by it and laugh. The hotel location is close to the Coliseum, but quite unpleasant, with lots of sketchy people walking around. Not staying again.

    We arrived and immediately noticed a strong smell of marijuana throughout the hotel. While that wasn't a huge issue, we then saw a sign stating that the pool was closed and unusable. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, so that was definitely disappointing. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely kind and helpful, which was unfortunately the only positive part of our stay. When we entered our room, we found a dirty fork on the nightstand, stains on the bed sheets, and debris on the floor. At that point, I was frustrated but willing to ask for clean sheets and clean the room myself because we didn't want to drive 10 hours back home. However, when I checked under the bed sheets, I found multiple brown spots that appeared to be bed bug debris I Google lens it to confirm. We immediately packed our belongings and left. We were in the room for less than 30 minutes. The front desk informed us that because we booked through Booking.com, we would need to contact them regarding a refund. We have since been notified that the hotel is refusing to issue a refund. We stay in hotels frequently and have never had to leave one before. I am extremely disappointed that we are being denied a refund after leaving due to the cleanliness and potential health concerns. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I have plenty of pictures of proof just couldn't figure out on how to post it
