I wouldint recommend coming here, most the rooms don't have working Ac it's stuck at over 75 degrees Fahrenheit!! night and day, the manager Kimberly is overly rude, and does not make it a warm and welcoming stay, and to be honest just her hostility alone would make any normal person not want to keep there family here or spend there good hard earned dollars at this hotel. Aside from the inhumane climate and tempetures in the rooms, and the bad staff manager there are roaches outside at night. And that's my full honest whole heartedly review.

Excellent hotel. The evening food isn't the most spectacular but it is very welcome. The breakfast is a slight cut above average hotel breakfasts too and has good variety.
The main thing I enjoyed the most was how comfortable the beds were and the rooms felt large and relaxing. I had a great sleep every night I was here. The gym is also good because they have a cable machine.

We stayed here 2 nights, originally booking a 2 full bed 1 BR non-smoking suite room . However, when we walked in our room, it had such an overpoweringly musty and old cigarette odor that we asked for a new room. The very nice and helpful young black man working the evening shift (wish I had his name to thank him) kindly moved us into a king 1 BR suite handicapped accessible (because they were sold out of the norms) which smelled much fresher. The pull-out couch I slept on, however, was terrible--a 4 inch worn-out cheap spring mattress on top of a worn out frame, so it sagged severely and left me with a very stiff back. There were stains on the couch cushions and the mattress cover had sweat stains, so they could do better deep cleaning. The next morning I asked for a roll-away, but they had none. They did install another bad, thin spring mattress on top of the first, which was only slightly better. Do not plan to sleep on their pull out couch if you weigh more than 50 pounds. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking very simple meals and the bathroom was very spacious. The big disappointment was the maintenance of the breakfast items. Yes, the selection is large, but the quality overall was very poor. We went at 9am-- the hot water dispenser had lukewarm water in it, as if it had been sitting since the night before. Two days in a row, the mixed melon and grape fruit tasted fermented and the orange juice was fizzy and foamy-- either it was mixed with carbonated water (not sure this would be possible as it was a separate machine from the soft drinks) or it was also was fermenting. The staff sat in the back kitchen on their phones and seemed perturbed when I asked for more blueberries. One female employee walked to the cooler, got some packaged containers of berries from the cooler and (looking annoyed), dumped them into the serving trays without washing them. Overall, a mediocre stay in Durham.

Rooms are great, staff is friendly, but first night here fire alarm goes off around 11 pm. FD shows up alarm is turned off and everyone goes back in. 15 minutes later it goes off again. FD shows up and the desk attendant tells us there is smoke coming from the laundry. Specially the hot water. So here we are at 11:56 PM waiting for the building to be cleared.
