  Mmm. It smelled moldy as soon as I walked in and in the elevators as well. I was pleased that I was just able to walk in with no reservation for a 2 night stay without any issues. It wasn't all that expensive just $149 for each night. The fridge in the room didn't work. The towels i used were taken but not replaced. Water is super hot which I did enjoy alot. All in all would I do it again? ......probably not. I saw a Westin near a shopping center that id probably book in advance since it was next to a shopping center. Ohhh and the location of this place isn't great but it did the job.

  Cecilia is great! She is the only part of the experience so far that’s been good. She was kind, helpful and did everything she could to make things right and figure out a solution to the problems that presented themselves. On the other hand, we arrived to our room and noticed the cleanliness was way below the basic standard of clean. Our towel rack in bathroom is broken, floors dirty with public hair from who knows how many guests before us, the chair in the corner had fingernail clippings on it, the floor was clearly not vacuumed, windows didn’t have safety locks or screens on top floor anyone could get hurt, floors not mopped and toilet bowl was not scrubbed, mirror had toothpaste spots, shower curtain doesn’t close because the bar holding it is bowed and needs to be replaced, shower curtain ripped and stained and dust had been collecting and obviously not cleaned on most surfaces recently. FINALLY- we had half a roll of toilet paper upon arrival, ran out and then called the front desk to ask for more and they said “we dont have any more toilet paper available” I asked what are we supposed to do until tomorrow and she said she didn’t know. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there is not a manager here to talk to until tomorrow. I asked if they could take some toilet paper out of an empty room and they said no. So… I’m not sure what to do (nor have we ever been in a hotel this neglected before-not even close) but I would highly suggest you BEWARE of what the website shows for pictures because they are VERY DIFFERENT than what is the reality of the situation. The hotel the lobby is about the only thing that looks similar to photos. We felt mislead and disgusted at how the whole scenario played out. Major disappointment overall, look elsewhere!!!

  All the staff here are so passionate, efficient, compassionate and amazing. I love their accommodations. Thank you especially to Arnold, Frankie. Cecilia, and Alma and the security guard. You all work so hard and I appreciate the amazing accommodation and services yall provide 🫶 The hotel is clean and has daily service (and they are very carefulness serious and do a fantastic job), the complimentary breakfast is awesome (ask if available still idk), beautiful amenity & convenient location, a computer & printer space, great beautiful rooms, lounge, indoor pool and spa Amazing Will literally rebook in a heartbeat 💐💖

  I have to say I was a little nervous about staying here bc of previous reviews BUT I did not experience any bad issues. I got there late about 11 pm. Parking lot was well lit and as a woman by myself I felt completely safe. Check in was very efficient and the lady was so kind and accommodating. The hotel is HUGE. It is older so yes they need new carpet in the halls bc of stains but really at this price do you care about hallway carpet stains. The room was perfect. I had a King and the room was so big and clean. Actually very very clean. No musty smells like some people mentioned. It was very quiet. I did not hear or see anyone in the halls. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. I really have nothing but good things to say. The location was perfect! Right across the street from my Duke doctors appointment. Check out was fast and easy. Every employee was super nice. It is refreshing to get a good hotel for that cheap of a price.

  Do not be fooled by the photos posted by the hotel, they must be 10-15 years old at least - you can tell by how tall the trees are around it now and when you get inside it's quite different. I thought I was booking a nicer hotel but this place is super dingy. This hotel also smells so, so bad. When you walk into the lobby there is an overabundance of some type of freshener that smells cheap and unpleasant. The hallways smell dank and the rooms smell worse. The first room they put me in reeked of cigarettes and the second room smells like an old musty grandparents' house. I had to open the window when I got here and it didn't help much. There are also stains all over the carpets, marks all over the walls, peeling paneling on doors, etc etc this place looks like it's falling apart. This hotel needs a major, major refresh. If you can get it cheap, ok it's a bed to sleep in and close to Duke but don't be fooled, this place is not what it seems. I'm very disappointed.
