Would be 5 stars, but the amount of air freshener used is a bit unnecessary, and the pool/jacuzzi feel like they are lined with gravel. I cut my toe pretty badly just scraping it on the bottom. Staff is great, room was as expected, and the view of the river and location are beautiful.

Lovely hotel with amazing views! The location looks a little concerning when driving there, however once on site, the property is clean and well lit. I would definitely recommend to get a balcony!

Quiet, clean and good breakfast. The ac didn’t cool the room and left it humid. The pool area was disappointing and poorly maintained. The hot tub wasn’t hot and the pool was cold.

An awesome base for all things Western Carolina. It's just a short jaunt from campus and an exceptional option for a stay. Be sure to see if you can get a river-view room, but either way, this is an amazing place to stay. Checking in, Jessie made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. She also made sure we knew all the in's and out's of the hotel and really made us feel welcomed. I would absolutely stay here next time I'm in the area. Jessie, and the rest of the hotel cleanliness, made sure of that.

We were given a room right next to the pool and the door slammed every five minutes ruining any chance of peace and quiet. When we called the front desk to ask to be moved we were told they had no availability even though the website showed rooms available at half the rate we paid. Not only that but the balcony was not private and the whole outside area was shared so that people walk past your room at any given time. If I could give it zero stars I certainly would.
