- NDNick DiColandreaAug 23, 20224.0Great rooms, friendly staff, and a ten minute walk to downtown Blowing Rock. I’ve stayed here many times and each time I’ve never disappointed! Check out the beach on the top floor (jk it’s an inside joke with front desk staff bc they are awesome!)
- KZKaren ZSep 29, 20195.0Clean, friendly. Easy location to get to. Stayed the weekend for App State game. Just wish there was more food options nearby. Downtown is beautiful, take a couple hours and walk the shops on Main St. Comfortable beds. Quiet atmosphere.

Rooms was ok, but with closer look the bathroom was cover all over with a hair from previous guest and mirror was dirty...The bed I had to strip and make it on my own from beginning because the mattress protection was all roll up and wrinkly, so it was hard to sleep on it and rest. I don't have a sensitive skin but today is 6th day since I stayed for one night at the hotel and I am still dealing with rash on my half face from the pillow. If you want to join their pool don't forget to bring from your home a full body cover neoprene protection because water and swimming pool area is freezing cold like in North pole. Hopefully in the future they will not overwhelm housekeeping staff with to much work, so they can focus more on the room and do a better job. Or they shoud get more money on their paychecks, that way they will feel more motivated 😉👋 Ahoj and enjoy your stay 👌😶
- JWJustin WalkerOct 3, 20171.0I don't know if it was just bad timing or its what to expect with a staff full of college students, but I recently stayed here over the weekend. After I paid and received my room key I went to enter my room and people were still in there! So I went back to the front desk and got a new room. After going in the new room it reeked of old food and the sheets weren't changed yet. So now the manager is now handling the situation and she relocated me to a new room that "she cleaned herself." Very poor experience and probably would not recommend.
