As regular commuters between our homes in NJ and FL, we’ve stayed overnight here several times. The rooms are consistently clean and the staff is friendly. However, I’m taking one star off for sleep quality. When you get a room facing the highway, the road noise makes it very difficult to sleep. Unlike the Hampton Inn next door, this property doesn't allow you to select your room location in advance. On our last stay, I requested a quiet room facing away from the road at check-in but was told none were available. Because room selection can't be guaranteed ahead of time, we'll likely return to the Hampton Inn for our future trips. It’s a shame because we genuinely like this hotel.

We came to Benson NC for a friend's wedding, and got a room at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Benson. This place is top-notch. Super clean, modern, and has everything you need — great pool, nice patio, and a breakfast that is actually GOOD. The rooms? Amazing. Bed was comfortable as all get-out, quiet, spotless. I slept like a rock. But the real win here is the staff. Just outstanding people. Friendly from the minute you walk in, and they really do go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. You don't get customer service like that everywhere anymore. Can't recommend it enough. I'll be back for sure. 10/10.

We come here to visit my brother and it is a super convenient and nice location. The room is always clean and the indoor pool is great for kids. We have an electric car, so the destination charger makes this a no brainer.

My entire experience was wonderful. When I checked in, the woman was super friendly and helpful. She signed me up for their rewards program which allowed me to save a little money. (I'm frustrated with myself for not getting her name) The vending area by the front desk was filled with a large variety of food and drink, including alcoholic beverages. Being able to add the cost to my room was super easy and time saving. The room was beautifully appointed, very spacious with extra, nice amenities such as the dove body wash and lotion next to the sink, and the dove products in the shower. The armoire unit was smartly done with the iron and a full ironing board tucked away in a side compartment. This morning, my on-going spinal issues were especially challenging so I was struggling with just getting anywhere. Otis noticed and retrieved a cup of hot water in a to-go cup with a lid for my hot tea (I already had a teabag) His thoughtfulness was a blessing. This wasn't my first selection for my stay. I'd planned to stop at the next exit but traffic woes caused me to stop early. I am very glad I did. This is will be my go-to stop next time I take the trip from Pennsylvania to Florida which is often.
