  We stayed for the first time at IHG “Holiday Inn Express” in Asheville, NC — off of Rocky Ridge Road — where we were treated as VIPS by the entire staff. Jessica sent us off on our way with a smile, in the morning after a good breakfast I’m leaving a very rare review because of a particular hotel associate named Poem who went WAY out of her way to accommodate an unfortunate situation we created for ourselves. Poem answered our phone call by coming personally to see what had happened and without hesitation nor a frown, she offered to assist, find a solution and made our stay a real pleasure. Certainly she didn’t have to be as friendly or good-natured and professional, but because she was so positive, helpful and uplifting, that we were quickly able to recover from a loss and view this hotel chain as extremely guest-focused. We would stay here again and again because it’s hard to find a place on the road to match home — but Poem made it feel like visiting family. Thanks to everyone and especially our favorite associate, Poem!!

  So I came here to stay after a goof up in my booking. I was having a rough day and was pretty unhappy. The manager, Mickinley (I hope I Have the name correct!) was so kind and welcoming. I was having a rough day but he was just nice and had a great attitude. It really helped turn my day around. I am really grateful for that! Thank you! The room was comfortable and clean!!! I felt welcomed and valued! A+ guys!

  we stop here on our way home from Florida every year. it's nothing extra, but is almost perfect for what we need - a quick room, clean, good staff, and a breakfast in the morning.

  Clean rooms, friendly staff. Be very careful when pulling out .. it's on a curve and bushes block your view. I saw 2 close calls and I was only there 2 nights

  Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, great breakfast, lots of parking available even when arriving later in the evening. Exceptionally pleasant and friendly staff.
