  We visited Candlewood Suites to check it out for a large group event, and this and only one other location ended up at the top of our list for the Asheville area. The rooftop area is AMAZING, we loved that there are kitchens in the rooms, the hotel was VERY clean, and the staff was phenomenal (accommodating, professional, kind, humorous, and helpful!). Ambrocio led a wonderful tour! The sales contact (Sydney) was extremely pleasant and flexible, and so was the manager. Just an all around great staff and lodging venue!!!

  We had a very nice experience. All the staff were professional, polite and friendly. Starting from the main lobby, elevators, hallways and room were very cleaned. The room and bathroom were spacious and the kitchenette was very convenient. We will stay again.

  Nice and clean. Comfy and quiet. Has a nice kitchen. Lots of restaurants close and grocery store next door. Even has a cook top stove and pots and pans for cooking. Full size microwave. Very close to downtown.

  I’ve stayed here a few times while visiting my mom and sister. No breakfast in the AM kinda stinks but there is a McDonalds practically in the same parking lot, ingles grocery store right next door, gas stations, Texas road house, Burger King walking distance down the street and so much more. Very clean! Very friendly and we just discovered a ROOFTOP BAR! Bartender only there on select days (double check with front desk for this days. I believe she said Tue- Sat 4-9pm) but your welcome to go up there and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks…whatever during your stay. We will be back in 2 1/2 weeks! Yay!

  This property has many amenities to offer, being so close to downtown - you can't beat the price! But mostly what I loved was the atmosphere., beginning with their staff. Marlene, the front desk manager has a wonderful personality, keeps everyone on top of things, and with always with a smile. She genuinely cares whether or not you have a good stay or not. If there's something out of place, its handled right away. That's just how my experience was the whole time there. Makes me feel at home. The rooms and building are very clean and spacious. I love they have a large laundry room on site, free! The exercise facility is all brand new. The air quality is great too, no orders or smells. Everything is kept up and in new or newer condition. I came to do a major reset from the stress of modern-day life, and make this my writer retreat. I was able to get a very good rate by booking directly. I highly recommend doing that if you can. They have an outdoor patio for grilling and chilling just off where the pool entrance is. The icing on the cake is the GARDEN ROOFTOP! You must also check that out! t's an urban paradise on the 6th floor. I went up to greet the sunrise my first morning, and it was a profound moment for me, to take in the stunning, panoramic views looking over the mountaintops of Asheville - and without having to go out for a hike. So grand in size, imagine the full length and width of the entire building underneath your feet with mountain fresh air and blue skies, so close you can touch the clouds. There is also a bar, and across from it sits a large tv viewing area with comfortable sectionals, chairs and tables. If you aren't in the mood for either of those, take in one of the several appointed coves or areas to socialize, work or dine. This 6th floor rooftop is definitely underused, in my opinion. I plan to go tonight to watch the sunset and every night thereafter - weather permitting, during my stay. Thank you, staff and IGH for creating this beautiful, beautiful and accommodating space.
