  Karen and Julianna greeted us warmly and got us into our room quickly. They were the first of many staff to provide excellent service. We plan to return whenever we pass through the area again!

  A wonderful location for our quick weekend trip to the Zoo. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Karen was our guest services attendant and went above and beyond for my family, even making cookies especially for us. She was so kind and helpful. We appreciate her so much!

  Holiday Inn Express & Suites High Point South — 20 Nights - A Wonderful Stay Our experience with this hotel actually started about six weeks before we ever checked in. I reached out with an email ahead of our stay, and I was pleasantly surprised when Christina, the general manager, called me personally to help with my request. She was extremely professional and went out of her way to help where she could. Fast forward to check-in, where we were greeted with a smile by Yuliana, the assistant general manager, who was just as professional and a genuine joy to work with from the start. The hotel itself is older and definitely has that classic "older HIE and Suites" style, but honestly, the average guest staying a night or two would never notice, because the property is very well maintained. We loved the fully automated coffee machines in the breakfast area, not every Holiday Inn has them, and it was a real treat to be able to grab a coffee or hot water for tea 24/7. A few more names worth mentioning: Pam at guest services greeted us most mornings after our walks and was so helpful answering my questions about our long-term hotel life strategy. Karen was equally helpful in the afternoons, and Karen cam make a great afternoon cookie. Rounding things out, Maria and Rocio kept breakfast running smoothly, and our housekeeper on the third floor, whose name escapes me, only cleaned the room twice at our request but was always quick to bring extra washcloths or towels whenever we needed them. We also appreciated that this hotel's management group, Daly Seven, participates in the 500 points a day for no housekeeping program, a great green initiative. This is a solid five-star stay, but we always try to find something. The outside garbage cans could stand to be checked and emptied daily, and the grounds could use a regular walk-through to pick up any stray debris. That's genuinely it.
