    My husband and I was so disappointed when we got to our room on June 26th 2026. To make it so bad, the reason why we were staying here, is because we were in town for our daughter's wedding. The bed was filthy, as if the was just mad up from the previous guests, because it was pubic hair all on the beds, hair all on the bed, stains on the beds,crumbs on the tables, and to top it off, food was left in the microwave, and I took pictures of everything and showed them to to hotel manager that was working that night,I told her, the way that room looked, the we deserve a refund, and said that she'll see what she could do, but did call house keeping to clean our room, and when we got back to our room, it was better, but it still wasn't clean that good, because we still seen dust and hair on the nightstand table, the floor still wasn't vacuumed, the air conditioning had bugs on it, and I took pictures of that too and I told the hotel night manager and she said that she was going to call house keeping to come back, but she never did. So the next day we had them to clean our room, and my phone charger got stolen, when we checked out on Sunday June 28th, I talked to the morning hotel manager, and she gave me the General Managers number, which I will be calling tomorrow asap.

    Check in desk/lobby area was nice and very clean. Clerl was pleasant and polite while being professional as well. Room was cool and smelled pleasant/ clean. Comfortable bed as well.

    Staff was awesome! So nice. Rooms were clean. Just a musty smell. But get past that and it was great. Breakfast was good. Decent selection. They even put the basketball game on for us so we could all watch together in the lobby. Great location. So many places to eat in the area.

    This is the only worthwhile place to stay in Albemarle. It is clean, the staff is friendly and the beds are pretty comfortable. My only issue with is that they understand this and they charge so much per night compared to any other area. $260-275 a night in Albemarle NC is ridiculous. Unfortunately there are no other good options.
