- DWDarci WatsonAug 3, 20261.0For nearly $300 a night, I expected much more from Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown. The hot tub was out of order, and our room was advertised as having a microwave. When I asked about it, the front desk specifically told me the rooms had been updated but they had not updated their website to reflect that the microwaves were removed. Guests are instead expected to use a community microwave in the lobby. That is false advertising, especially at this price point. What made it worse was the complete lack of an apology or any attempt to make it right. A broken amenity is one thing, but advertising amenities that aren't actually provided and then showing no accountability is unacceptable. For $300 a night, I expect accurate advertising, functioning amenities, and basic customer service. Unfortunately, this stay fell short on all three.

This became a problem because my dad has sleep apnea, so he uses a machine that needs electricity. So when the circuit flipped in the middle of the night, my dad stopped breathing until he woke up and took it off. I give the service a decent rating because my parents went to the front desk at 4 am and got a room change so my dad could finally sleep, but they did not supply my room with enough towels.
