  Upon arrival, I was informed that the elevator was out of service and that my room was on the fourth floor. I had three large rolling suitcases and had to carry them up four flights of stairs, which was extremely difficult and frustrating—especially while paying for the stay. I asked if I could receive a late checkout as a courtesy since I would have to carry all of my luggage back down four flights of stairs at checkout, but my request was denied. I also asked if I could be moved to a lower floor, and that request was denied as well. I even reached out to IHG customer service, but unfortunately, they were unable to offer any assistance. While I understand that mechanical issues happen, I was disappointed by the lack of accommodation or effort to help make the situation easier. A small gesture, such as a room change or a late checkout, would have gone a long way toward improving the experience.

  This was absolute the worst experience of this property no knowledge to how to book big groups. Confirmations was sent once book month before then once arrived they couldn't find many reservations.

  Candlewood has ,economically ,the largest suite . This hotel has a very friendly and efficient receptionist from Samoa. The elevator is fast and clean. The hallway smelled fresh and the room and bath were exceptionally clean. All in all, a great experience!

  I travel the country for work, I stay in lots of hotels for 3 weeks a month when I'm sent out. I've stayed in many extended stays with kitchens and ovens and the like (Homewood, TownePlace, etc...), and I say this with all honesty: I have heard the fire alarm go off in this hotel more times in 2 weeks than I have in my entire life. Even crazier is that I'm only in the hotel from an average of 5pm to 7am and the rest I'm out working. THIS IS UTTERLY INSANE TO ME. The hours of the day don't matter, either, in case you were wondering! 2am for a hotel lobby bathroom smoke? YOU BET! 6pm? Sure why not, it's dinner time! 6am? Absolutely, burn that bacon! How about a late 9pm dinner? LET'S SET IT OFF! The rooms are pretty standard and nothing special to report. Super large desk which is great for me, I did like that for my computer stuff. Kitchen is small but usable. Bed and pillows were comfy enough that I can't complain. Water pressure from the shower is by far the best thing about this hotel besides the coffee. No free breakfast is definitely a shocker, but it is what it is, I knew that when I booked. The staff are very nice and attentive, I have absolutely zero issues with anything from the hotel or the staff. But the guest competency.....oof.... Hotel - 3/5 Staff - 5/5 Guests - big oof/5

  We booked a king suite. The facilities were clean, but everything was dated and had an unkempt feeling. Feels like it was nice when new and has never been refreshed. Rutted up carpets, damaged furniture, NO ice maker. Really pretty disappointed for the price point.
