  Overall, the hotel has an excellent location and is a great halfway stop on the way to Destin. The staff was friendly, and the front desk lady was polite and tried to help. Unfortunately, our experience with the room cleanliness was disappointing. When we first used the restroom, we found the toilet seat dirty. We called the front desk, but since it was late at night, we were told there was no housekeeping available until the morning and no other rooms were available. Eventually, we were moved to a king room, but unfortunately, the toilet seat in that room was also dirty. In the end, we had to clean it ourselves. The location and staff were great, but the lack of housekeeping support and the cleanliness of the bathrooms left us disappointed. I hope the hotel improves its cleaning standards because it has the potential to provide a much better guest experience. Secondly i will definitely comeback i hope this time restroom doesn’t give me any problems.

  Hotel was located in a decent location. Exterior and lobby were nice. Full service bar and restaurant are convenient. Staff is very welcoming and pleasant. The room - had a stain from the hvac on the wall and warped the headboard above one of the beds. Seeing the carpet in the daylight this morning it was dirty. I saw a cut qtip under the chair and a piece of food by the chest of drawers. The shower was clogged so stood in 5” of water while I showered. The shower curtain doesn’t secure so it whips around in the shower and allows water to get all over the floor. Loosing faith in the Holiday Inn brand.

  We were coming into Jackson from our vacation in Florida when the road changed and there was a bump and our car all of sudden said engine malfunction and went into neutral on the highway. My husband pulled over and turned off the car and then it wouldn't start again, we waited and it finally turned on again but with every bump it automatically went into neutral. So we pulled over to a gas station in the worst part of town, nothing being open with it being a Sunday so we have to wait until Monday to take it to the dealership. So we looked for a hotel by the dealership and called an Uber to take me and the kids there with half of our stuff. We went to the hotel, it was so bad and they had no rooms but it worked out because it was the wrong hotel so I had to call another Uber to take me and the kids to the correct hotel which is in a better part of town. So my husband stayed with the car for over 2 hrs until it could get towed. When the kids and I finally arrived at the Holiday Inn in Pearl, the moment we walked in I felt better and safer. The front desk ladies and Michael were absolutely amazing and helped us get settled. The hotel has a shuttle service that takes people to the airport, so I wouldn't have to get another Uber for the kids and I, I asked if they could take us to the dealership instead to meet with my husband and they did with no questions asked. Everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant, and to the gentleman who drove us to the dealership, thank you. Thank you for being there when we needed you guys the most. If I had stop in Jackson again, this is where I am going.

  Our family had a terrible stay at the Holiday Inn Trustmark Park, an IHG hotel in Jackson, Mississippi. Upon arrival, we encountered pubic hair in the bathroom, which was shocking. The sticky carpets made it feel unclean, and we were kept awake by loud noises from other guests. The night clerk, Michael, was rude and unhelpful when I requested to see alternative rooms. Sadly, all four rooms had the same issues, including sticky carpets and bathroom cleanliness problems.
