  I am writing this review on behalf of Elegant Designs regarding a disappointing experience while attempting to secure a room block of 10 rooms for one of our wedding clients. I initially contacted the hotel last week and followed up again yesterday regarding availability. During yesterday’s conversation, I was told that rooms were available. Based on that information, I contacted the hotel again today, Tuesday, to move forward with securing the rooms. After calling again today, I received a return call from Annie Harris, who identified herself as the Sales Director. I was then informed that she had been on vacation and that no one else had the authority to confirm room availability. This was extremely frustrating, considering I had already been told the previous day that rooms were available and was simply following up based on the information provided to me by hotel staff. Ms. Harris then explained that room blocks of this nature are normally arranged far in advance. I explained that, as an event professional, I am well aware of how hotel room blocks are typically handled. However, this particular couple recently made the decision to have their wedding and needed assistance finding accommodations for their guests. The timing of their wedding was not the issue. My concern was that I had been given information by hotel staff and was attempting to act on that information. Unfortunately, I found the tone of the conversation dismissive and the overall handling of the situation unprofessional. I was not expecting special treatment or guaranteed availability. I simply expected accurate information, clear communication, and professional customer service. As an event business that regularly works with couples, their families, and event guests, we depend on hospitality partners to provide reliable information so that we can confidently make recommendations to our clients. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable referring our clients to this property without concerns about the consistency of the information they may receive. — Elegant Designs

  One of the best hotels i’ve stayed at. Clean rooms, yummy breakfast, awesome staff. Highly recommend

  The Hotel is very clean and the staff was great, the beds are comfortable with nice pillows
