    Worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. I used my IHG Rewards points to stay at Candlewood Suites, and I truly regret wasting them on this property. The room was in unacceptable condition from the moment we arrived. The bedding was filthy, with stained sheets that looked like they had not been properly cleaned. The towels were also dirty. The shower had visible mildew and mold, which made it feel unsanitary. The pullout couch mattress was heavily stained and unusable, and the curtains were filthy with what appeared to be black mold. The overall cleanliness of the room was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the property promised to refund points to my IHG Rewards account because of the condition of the room, but I never received them. When I contacted IHG Customer Service to resolve the issue, I was given a hard time instead of receiving the assistance I expected as a loyal rewards member. I spent valuable points on this stay that could have been used at a property that actually met basic cleanliness standards. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend this location to anyone. I expect much better from both Candlewood Suites and the IHG brand It. appeared that the housekeeping staff were using personal cleaning supplies rather than commercial-grade products. While these products temporarily masked odors and made the room smell fresher, they did not appear to provide the level of deep cleaning and sanitization expected for a hotel environment. Based on the visible dirt, stains, mildew, and mold throughout the room, it was evident that appropriate disinfectants and cleaning procedures had not been used.

    We experienced a dirty room which appeared to from a cat in the room prior to our stay. We experienced alergies and informed the front desk. An apparent manager kindly informed us that our pet fee would be waved. Then the general manager called and left a rude message stating the pet fee would not be waved. And I spoke to her on the phone and she was extremely rude again and hung up on me before the conversation was through. Also the elevator was broken, our ac was broken in our first room and the phone was broken. Perhaps the health department should look into the cleanliness of this room. This is my opinion.

    The hotel is situated near the interstate and restaurants. Our accomodations were clean. The staff is friendly when taking care of our needs. Thank y'all.

    I am genuinely shocked that this property is associated with the IHG and Candlewood Suites brands. The standards at this hotel fall far below what travelers should expect. I was informed that my room was not ready and had to wait nearly 2–3 hours after the advertised 3:00 PM check-in time for it to be cleaned. Unfortunately, the room was not worth the wait. The entire property appeared outdated, poorly maintained, and in serious need of renovation. Numerous items were broken, the furnishings were worn down, and it was obvious that cleanliness and upkeep are not priorities here. The hotel had a persistent dirty odor throughout, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a rundown motel rather than a reputable hotel. The condition of the property, combined with the lackluster customer service, made for an extremely disappointing experience. As a frequent traveler, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I left at the first opportunity because I simply did not feel comfortable staying there. This property does not reflect the quality, professionalism, or standards that I would expect from either IHG or Candlewood Suites.

    Checkin wasn’t anything spectacular - front desk assistant was kind and had a good attitude BUT check in took a minute because there is only one person working. My biggest reason for leaving a review is the fact i spent $300 for a one night stay that I couldn’t even sleep due to crying babies below us and for some reason house keeping just does not care what pillows are on the bed when making it. I am a petite woman and firm pillows are borderline impossible for me to sleep on because it has my head kinked at a terrible angle. Only 1 out of 8 pillows in the two beds in the entire room was soft - the rest were firm. Very upsetting to spend such an outrageous amount of money to spend ONE night somewhere and not even be able to sleep.
