Had a late check out today came in from a 16 hr work day to find a housekeeper in my room. Walked in on him he had my vitamins threw in the floor then proceeded to tell me my belongings was down stairs all but my shower bag that was on his cart. Said he didn’t want anyone to take it I didn’t think anything about it went down stairs asked the lady at the front desk that was very nice and helpful for my things when I got my belongings I went through the bags and looked where he said he placed my medication long and behold my adderall was not there my prescription aspirin was but not the adderall. These are nice folks that work here. I know you get bad apples in some employees but moral to the story don’t leave your medicine in the hotel room no matter how long your going to be staying.

The carpet felt greasy and disgusting, the had no extra towels, no pillows for the pull out bed, and no blankets what so ever for the pull out bed. Room cost $300 so I would expect for that price could at least gets towels and blankets. No breakfast either.

I just wanted to make you aware of the experience we had while visiting this hotel. We were staying at this hotel as a pass through on the way to Destin. We arrived around 7:30pm and checked in, but did not go to our rooms as we just wanted the keys then headed out to dinner. When we arrived back around 9:30pm we headed to our room. Upon arrival our room smelt of weed, had trash everywhere, beds unpaid, rags in the sink, and just clearly not cleaned. My children and I heard to our parents room to get the kids a bath while my husband went to the front desk to sort out. (We were told they were sold out originally, so we're afraid there wouldn't be another room available). The front desk issued us another room. My husband went to check it out and it was clearly being remodeled. The beds were pushed to the sides, paint cans and brushes on the sinks, also just not habitable. Again my husband went back to the desk and was able to get another room. This 3rd room was finally clean. This just seemed absurd for a hotel you have to pay $250/night for that was clearly outdated with no breakfast or pool amenities either. I'm not usually one to complain but the first room was absolutely atrocious so I felt like our experience should be shared. This hotel is outdated, doesn't have any USB plugs, and is in dire need of a total remodel.
