  Great location, the staff was nice, but our room was nasty. We were in a hurry to find somewhere because the kids were tired and hungry. We booked a room here thinking it would be fine since it is a big name hotel. There was mold around the caulking of the tub, the shower head was floppy loose, there was dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod, there was a dirty pair of socks laying in the corner of the room, the trim was ripped from the bottom of a wall, the pool was green, the bath water smelled like rotten eggs, and the for looked like someone had tried to chisel their way into the door at some point. I would expect the room to be like it was if it was a $50 room, not 4 times that. I wish this would let me post pictures I took of some of the issues.

  Customer service was excellent very courteous. But their was stained and unvacuum carpet unclean bathroom toilet and painted over shower is very nasty with rust and mold the 3 days and 2 nights we were there housekeeping never entered the room to touch it up to vacuum or make the bed not change the sheets just make the bed we had to ask for hand soap for the bathroom and fresh towels for the next day needless to say the towels from the previous day stayed there until check-out on the 3rd day and breakfast on that Sunday which was the 3rd day wasn't being replenish we the customers was looking around for the attend no omelets, cinnamon rolls, watered down cranberry juice very watery this is not an IHG owned Holiday Inn Express very poorly kept and not of IHG quality the same of the Holiday Inn Express in Charleston S.C. that we stayed at in March for our anniversary bugs and cobwebs and shades that couldn't be opening front desk clerk said it was broke and yet they put quest in that room which was a handicap room and neither me or my husband are handicap and never have been til this very day THANK YOU JESUS these hotels are way over charging for unkept rooms and bathrooms fixtures these new owners are riding on the IHG name we can no longer continue with the Holiday Inn Express and future IHG HOTELS that has been sold to private companies.

  The showers were not clean and maintenance was poor. In a double room occupancy only 2 towels were provided when asked to provide more as we are a family of four we were told they were out. So when I asked how can we resolve this I was told they couldn't do anything. And after compmainig about this I was given some dirty looking towels from the pool. Also the bath tub looked awful and lacked cleanliness. The attitude of the front lady was not of service. I understand that it was 5 am when I can downstairs because we were all taking showers but still, much more was expected from a holiday inn express.

  Nice Hotel, Friendly people, clean hotel! Don't believe me discouraging reviews. The Hotel, cleanliness, pool, breakfast were all good.We traveled with family 5 rooms NO COMPLAINTS
