  Good customer service and location for passing through! The hotel itself could use updates for the rooms for sure. Only a couple outlets worked in the room, and a few things were out of order in the hotel.

  I wasn't asked to write this, but I had such a great experience that I had to leave a review! Our room was absolutely spotless, the bathroom was exceptionally clean (loved the nice-smelling Dove toiletries!), and the beds were so comfortable that we all crashed out right away. The free 12 PM checkout was also a huge bonus! The absolute highlight of our stay, though, was the incredibly helpful gentleman working the breakfast bar today (6/13/2026). We were running late and missed breakfast, but as he was cleaning up, he kindly offered us muffins, bananas, cereal, milk, and even offered to turn the OJ machine back on for us. Thanks to him, we didn't have to delay our drive with an extra stop for food. Message to IHG Management: Please recognize this employee in some form or fashion. People like him are what make a hotel successful and turn first-time visitors into loyal guests. This is one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in, and I will definitely be back next time I pass through Jackson, MS!

  Demetria accommodated us, even though we have a very picky corporate housing group she was incredibly detailed oriented, and all of her staff were team players, and she made our stay in Jackson so much better I want to hire her they should give her a raise and more PTO

  I was surprised to see all the positive reviews of this place. While the staff were generally friendly and it is conveniently located close to the airport, this hotel had a few concerning issues that made our stay less than pleasant. First, the AC unit in our room had an exceptionally loud rattling sound and seemed like it was very old. Second, there seemed to be issues with the bedside outlets, as they were making a loud clicking sound despite nothing being plugged into them. When we went to the front desk to address this, no one was there, they seemed to be short staffed. Lastly, the pool, which was advertised in the listing, was not operational for the whole duration of our stay. At least the rooms were fairly clean and the breakfast was okay, although they closed earlier than advertised for that too. Overall, not the greatest experience or what I would expect for a Holiday Inn. I guess you get what you pay for.
