Always a great place to stay they can't help they're stuck where they're at. I guess the city is doing the best they can do panhandlers everywhere outside the property. They have some type of security company but some of them look just as bad. I don't believe they pay for the security I believe it's part of the casinos private companies say hi or something like that is what somebody was telling me. If they stepped up their security around there it would definitely be an awesome place inside and out.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on April 29th because I had a work event and was presenting here the next day. I got in late and there were not any restaurants open so I had to get room service and the meal I got gave me the worst food poisoning of my life. I was sick for 4 days after and luckily could still give my fireside chat but I had a personal trip to vacation planned for that weekend and my stomach couldn’t handle any food during the first few days of my vacation. It was a very rough experience and I would think room service from the Four Seasons would be fine to eat but I guess not.

First off, I was rudely disturbed via phone call at the CRACK OF DAWN on the day of my check-in! The call was of absolutely no importance whatsoever. Some woman called to ask me what time I will be checking in and what day I wanted an amenity sent to the room. Mind you, I literally already confirmed with the hotel DAYS PRIOR that regular check in time is fine AND the exact day to deliver the amenity. Sheer incompetence on their part, and an inconvenience for me. Don't call to try and rush me into spending my own money at the crack of dawn.
Upon check-in, I've had a bellhop eerily looking into the room as he handed off luggage. No idea what he was looking for, but it was super unsettling, weird & creepy!!!
The room was clean, nice, and spacious, but the towels have stains and hair left on them! Even when you ask for new ones, they still have stains. Really disgusting!!!
The location is in downtown St. Louis. 'Nuff said. Not as nice as other Four Seasons locations at all. Refrain from driving at NIGHT! And the only decent view is the arch-view, but you still will hear traffic from down below.
For some extremely odd reason, housekeeping kept ringing the doorbell multiple times a day despite having the 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign up! They even TRIED entering the room!
Also, prepare to be treated as a second-class citizen despite paying $THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS$ when they have other guests, such as baseball players, staying at the hotel! The room service phone staff guy was incredibly SHORT AND RUDE! Apparently, the baseball players were priority number 1 for the restaurant. I can only imagine how the staff treats guests when Nelly, for instance, comes to have his annual black & white party. The food is also unseasoned, overpriced, and underwhelming! A dish was also incorrectly cooked! And multiple times at night, the orders were completely wrong. How a 5-star hotel can mess up something as simple as a plain cheeseburger and fries multiple times is beyond me! A COLD PIECE OF CHEESE SITTING IN A CUP ON THE SIDE, adding unwanted pickles on top of the burger, and adding on another side of not asked for mac & cheese??? Really???
Furthermore, the staff literally acts as if you are planning on moving in if you aren't out the door by noon. I've never heard of a hotel, let alone a Four Seasons, not having 1–2 pm check-out. And the middle eastern sounding millennial-aged guy at front desk is incredibly ignorant and rude. A 101-course on courtesy and hospitality needs to be taught at this establishment!

Upon check-in I was greeted by kind Ivone that explained the hotels amenities. Upon checkout, Mercy and Nica and Lauren did awesome job running through my bill with me. Very thorough. The rooms were kept up with on a daily basis and I was asked throughout the day if I needed any towels or toiletries. The location is convenient to the arch and the baseball stadium. The staff at Ramseys Kitchen was phenomenal. The food was delicious. I must give a huge shout out to Tatiana who did an extraordinary job coordinating employees and assisting with patrons in a cordial manner. Other staff that went above and beyond was Hope on 2 of my breakfast occasions. She stayed attentive to me throughout my meals. The bar staff also did an amazing job keeping my cup filled and removing food from in front of me while I dined/drank at the bar. Thank you Danyelle, Morgan, Bailey and Nada for your assistance. I missed a couple of names but the staff, as a whole, were great and on point. By the way, I highly recommend the Beef Wellington. I hope I'm able to come back again one day. Keep up the great work!

I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis for a short trip, and overall it was a comfortable experience, though not without a few small drawbacks.
The location was convenient, especially if you’re planning to visit downtown or the riverfront. It was easy to get around, and some attractions were just a short drive or walk away. The hotel itself felt modern and well-kept, and the lobby had a calm, polished atmosphere without being too formal.
My room was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the city and the Mississippi River area. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had good lighting and strong water pressure, which made a difference after long days out. Housekeeping did a solid job during my stay.
Service was generally polite and efficient, though I didn’t interact with staff very often beyond check-in and basic requests. Everything was handled without issues, but I wouldn’t say it felt especially personal or memorable.
The main downside for me was the price compared to what you get. It’s definitely on the expensive side, and while the quality is good, it didn’t feel dramatically different from other high-end hotels I’ve stayed at. Also, depending on the timing, some common areas like the pool or lounge could feel a bit busy.
Overall, it’s a reliable and comfortable hotel in a good location. I’d stay again if I wanted something dependable in St. Louis, but I’d also consider other options depending on the budget.
