  Recently checked out of this hotel after staying here for a nine week work trip. I travel for work and this is by far the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room doors slam so hard they will wake you up from a deep slumber as well as the room’s A/C unit which makes a very loud thud when it shuts off. The worst part of my stay is when I had an issue with a room cleaning mix up and not only was Ronin unwilling to fix the issue, he was downright rude and could never muster a hello or a smile for the rest of my visit. The parking lot is in need of a major repair as you’ll bottom out entering the back of the lot, or damage a wheel in the front of the lot and entering the hotel from the main road. The carpet in my room is in need of a deep clean or replacement as it was sticky even after being cleaned each week. The positive from my stay was Akon and her cleaning crew who do an excellent job cleaning the rooms as well as Angela and the girls at the front desk who were also friendly and able to assist with any issues.

  This place is super nice the only nicer place in St Joe it's the holiday inn express Right up the road.

  I very rarely make a review of the hotels that I stay at; however, this hotel was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at while in Missouri. Although it did take me a little bit to figure out from the front desk that this hotel is a long-term stay hotel, which was perfect for me. Good points: - Kitchens inside the rooms, so I could make my own food and did not have to rely on takeout every night - Laundry was completely free to use; they do get busy at certain points in time of the day. - Housekeeping would only bother me one time a week, which is amazing because I like to sleep in some days - The Managers, front desk staff, and housekeepers were so polite and tried to help or answer any of the questions that I asked. Not so great parts: - No breakfast, I had to ask about breakfast, and they don't have any here because they don't have a main kitchen, only the ones in the rooms, which is fine because I just went to the store right next door and bought breakfast items. - Ice machines, I didn't realize that they don't have ice machines here because the ice machines are in the freezer portion of the full fridge, so not bad, but I do wish they had some. Overall, this was an amazing 2-month stay, and seeing what this hotel had to offer me, I might stay at other Candlewood Suites from now on or just come back to this one.

  This hotel is a solid option. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was very nice. The blonde front desk girl always has a good energy. Elaine was nice and helpful. The pantry has good options, but they are a little overpriced.
