  Hotel online photos definitely doctored. Rooms are gross. Carpets and couches are stained. It might be an IHG hotel but it's an extended stay but it is not advertised as that. Pet walking area was not mowed and it was full of trash. Trash all on the grounds. Cassandra, the general manager, is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Do not stay here.

  I stayed at this location for 7 months, and I don't have anything bad to say at all. The staff is very friendly and rooms get cleaned once a week (standard for extended stays' - better cleaning that any extended stay I've stayed in). Anything that came up during my stay was met with immediate support and remediation. Very safe location, they have one entrance/exit. I fly home a couple times a month some months and always leave my work truck at the hotel and catch an Uber to the airport. I feel that the hotel is safer than the airport parking garage. Anything you want to do/eat in the St. Louis area is within 15 minutes of the hotel, even with traffic, so it is in a very convenient location. If you are planning to stay here long-term for work, it is even better. There are 4 grocery stores within ~1 mile of the hotel and a wash-and-fold laundromat next door. Very convenient when living and working on the road. As far as the reviews talking about weed, I don't personally smoke weed but weed is legal for recreational use in Missouri and most surrounding states. Any hotel anywhere near here will also have folks smoking weed outside. This is a classic case of mind your business and walk faster past them if you don't like the smell.

  Hmm where to start. Well cleanliness, floors and countertops in the kitchen were sticky, my toddler grandchild was being a toddler and found a dirty butter knife under the front of the refrigerator and next to it a filtered cigar. We don’t smoke. After taking a shower I walked around looking for my dang slippers and well my feet were black on the bottom from that miss adventure. Then there was the cat urine smell in the closet. Bedding smelt like it was dipped in bleach. I’m allergic to dust and well there was plenty of it. Especially on the air exchanger in the bathroom. But hey I got to listen to the upstairs people argue and stomp around two nights in a row and I guess we missed a party in the back parking lot. Night time staff argued with a customer and got an attitude when asked for towels.That was Friday night 6/19/2026 she had long dreads if anyone want so deal with that. Now even though they tell you to park in the lot of their establishment at your own risk keep in mind to really pay attention to that warning. Came out the morning we were leaving to the passenger side mirror bent in all the way. So that’s it that’s the stay we had in town for my best friends wedding.

  Great hotel, especially if you’re looking for somewhere for an extended stay. Great location, right in the middle of just about anywhere you might need to go. Rooms are always clean, stocked with necessities and even include things like a dishwasher, oven, stove, full size fridge/freezer and more. The staff is wonderful as well. Friendly, caring, helpful. Manager, Cassandra, is amazing. You can tell that she genuinely cares about guests. She gets to know you and goes out of her way to meet any needs.

  To begin with my wife and I were at the Residence Inn in Earth City and we're rudely thrown out when it went bankrupt. We were there for over 6 years. Now the Candlewood which took us in the blink of an eye. Cassie and her staff made us feel like family. Cassie has been amazing in her position as General Manager and with any problem we encountered she took care of them with the help of her staff. Cassie is an amazing GM and is compassionate and we are glad to be part of this extended family.
