  The room was nice and clean... The bed was big and very comfortable... The room was equipped with a table on each side of the bed as well as a desk, 2 chairs, a padded bench, mini fridge, Keurig, steamer, hangers and plenty of drawers... The walk space in the room was somewhat limited because of the king size bed but it was still comfortable enough... I stayed here a couple of years ago and the one reason I didn't care for it that time was the glass wall between the shower and the bedroom...😳 I was just SOOOO happy when I walked in and the glass was nicely covered in black...!🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉 I was told that all the showers in the building have been done so now I can be comfortable staying here with my teenagers or anyone else...!🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉

  We recently stayed at the hotel with a group of friends, and the experience was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, giving us a relaxing space to unwind after a long day. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed, which made our stay feel even more welcoming.

  We have used VIB several times but never again. There are several reasons, but when they were confronted with items being stolen and our bags and clothes being pilfered, the manager did nothing. Suddenly, after several issues and a complaint the stolen item suddenly showed up! They offered a half- hearted apology and a comp dinner... Never again. They offered for cleaning staff to come early and clean while we were there. I don't think the ability to process situations and actually confront problems is a thing their management can do ... Stay away!

  Originally I was going to give a 3 star review, then I noticed BEDBUG bites after checking out. I would avoid staying at this hotel until it is rectified. There are a lot of things worth noting about this hotel besides the bedbug infestation on the third floor: The room featured bubbled wallpaper as a result of the shower leaking in the bathroom onto the floor and (presumably) making its way into the wall. The bedrooms are small but not uncomfortable for a couple, the "pull out sofa" is a futon, and more troublingly the walls are so thin that i could hear every time the people one room over did so much as adjust their thermostat: even the beeps were clearly audible. the breakfast is paid and unfortunately not really worth the price, there are much much better options scattered throughout springfield. The burger they had during dinner was better: but still not worth it. The staff seemed friendly and helpful, though the lobby featured a flickering chandelier which perhaps was a sign of things to come, along with several office computers which were available for guest use, only one of which seemed to be functioning. How did they manage as much as 3 stars? Because they were $80 a night and a lot of that can be looked over. But not bedbugs. If you stayed here and especially on the third floor recently, set your washer and drier to high.
