  Recently stayed here and had 2 rooms. Both rooms were disgusting. Stained bed sheets, dirty bathrooms where you could clearly see someone’s hair on the toilet and I know the bathroom floors hadn’t been mopped for a good while. Also in one of the rooms the toilet stopped flushing. Spoke to other guests who were also having toilet issues. This hotel needs updated and a better housekeeping staff. The only reason it is getting 3 stars is because of the location. There is a good steakhouse next door which we tried and enjoyed and a Walmart close by that delivers quickly in case you need something.

  I chose to stay here even though the price was higher compared to other hotels that I had looked at online in Sedalia, but because it seemed to have great reviews and a few of the amenities that I really wanted, i chose to stay here.That, however, was not my experience at all. First of all. The door on the side of the building nearest to our room did not work with the room key, it was broken, so in order to park near our room and to be able to see our car from our window, we had to walk around the building to the front main entrance to get to our room which was pretty inconvenient when bringing in our luggage and other stuff to and from our car. The main thing that ruined our stay was that our room was right next to the elevators so everytime they were used we could hear the loud noise of them running through our wall, the wall that our beds were against. The headboards are connected to the walls and they literally vibrated when the elevators were being used. I brought this to their attention after getting no sleep our first night there. They offered to let me change room but only if I could do it by 12:00, noon, which wouldn't be possible for me since I was at my daughter's funeral that morning and wouldn't be back by noon. I wasn't offered any other solution after sharing this information with them so we were stuck with that room for a second night. I got barely any sleep for 2 nights while staying here during the worst time of my life, attending my daughter's funeral. They showed no compassion or willingness to solve my issues with this room. I just wanted a good night's sleep after a long drive and very stressful and emotional time for me and my younger daughter. The trip back home was rough after getting barely any sleep for 2 nights in a row. I will never stay at this place in the future when coming to visit my grandkids.

  Toilet wouldn't work had to fix it other guests had the same problem and the other room we had was dirty.
