  The staff was great. The room was clean. The pool was beautiful and clean. I liked the layout of the room. But... There was no basket in the coffeemaker to place the coffee pod in. The faucet in the bathroom was a trickle. There was no microwave. I brought my own, but there were 2 hair conditioners and no shampoo. The AC either had to be set in the 60's or it wouldn't kick on. I froze the entire time I was there. And PLEASE...replace one of the lamps that has USB outlets. I would stay there again and hope for the best.

  Everything was very clean, no Bugs. Beds were just okay. Hear springs and felt a few. They were well dented in mattresses. The front desk girl was very nice! The place is very out dated. You can smell the chemicals in the halls. The air vent blew on your face at night. There was also no in between with the air unit. If you had it on 70 it wouldn't kick on even if it was 78 in there. And I thought the price was steep considering it is out dated and small. I've been to other BEst Westerns, and It wasn't as good as those. I would stay again if I needed to.

  This is going to be a very mixed review. We traveled to St Louis for my son to be sworn in for the Marines. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was great, very warm and inviting. Got to the room and was not disappointed, A/c worked awesome, looked just as the webpage. Restaurants, shopping, everything you would need within walking distance. This is where I was very disappointed, especially being a Diamond member. Woke up in the AM with a note under the door to see front desk at checkout. Was told by front desk that room was not paid for. I tried to show the woman at the front desk my email confirmation and receipt saying that I had used my points for the stay and owed $0. She was very rude. Wouldn't give me an itemized receipt or even look at my email reservation receipt, could not or would not tell me what I owed money for, and acted like I was walking out on my bill, wouldn't let me speak or try to explain anything. Even offered to pay balance in cash( which I'm glad I didn't). Told me she didn't think a Diamond member would just walk out without paying. I had no time to wait any longer was not missing one of my son's most important events in his life over this. Called the corporate office and all was good on my end, they resolved the issue with the property. They took very good care of me. So just train your people better would be my suggestion, I've worked hospitality before and it takes a certain demnor for customer service and the sweet lady at night has it.

  The room wasn’t the cleanest. Not horrible though. The bathroom was the size of a small closet. Barely enough room to take clothes off for the shower. Shower curtain didn’t keep water from getting through material and getting everything wet. There was no way to take a bath cause the plug wasn’t attached and was laying behind the toilet. There was no extra toilet paper and other was half gone when we got there. Had to go get more from the desk. Our patio door didn’t open but it sure let the smell of marijuana creep through and stink up the room from the people around us smoking on their balcony. Room smelled good though other than when that was happening. The plus side was the area it was in was great. Surrounded by great food options and stores. Over priced though.

  On 08/03 I booked a reservation at this hotel and I accidentally booked the reservation for 08/30 instead of 08/03 via booking.com. The man at the front desk stated he would ask the manager if they can waive the cancellation fee and that I would need to make a new reservation to stay at Best Western. We were on a road trip and it was late in the evening, we were tired. Honest mistake. We made a new reservation and paid to stay at this hotel. We also asked for a late check out and we were only granted an additional 30 minutes to check out. I received an email asking for feedback regarding my stay. I informed them of the situation and I received an email from Tami at Customer Relations. She stated she had opened a ticket and to give the manager 2-5 days to reply to my request to waive the cancellation fee. I have tried several times to contact this manager (Tim) and have left several messages with the front desk. No call back or email. Nothing. I called Customer Relations again after waiting 5 days and Ray stated that only the manager at the Kirkwood location can approve the waiver. I asked to for his manager’s contact info and she stated “I don’t have that”. Poor customer service and lack of communication and professionalism. It’s unfortunate because I’m a Rewards member and have never had a complaint until now. I’ll choose a different and better hotel in the future.
