  I give 99% 5 star reviews normally. This place is a 1 star. The staff at the front desk was not service orientated. Turned me around, making me carry all my luggage back to my car and refused to let me check in. The rooms were not ready, which I understand, but most hotels still let you check in and take your lugage for safe keeping. They dod not rell me when to come back. I came back and the new front desk person was having a phone conversation on speaker with a friend, while checking me in! There were no wash clothes and the toilet leaked. I tried to call the front desk about these issues, no answer. I went tot the front desk, no one there! The front desk people suck!

  We asked for a roll a way bed when we reserved the room. They assured us that was no problem. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk had no idea if one was in the room. She said there was nothing she could do. She told us to wait until the next shift came in at 10:30 pm! And apparently his shift wasn't supposed to start until 11! She told us that we could wait until morning and talk to a manager. We are only staying one night and have opposite sex children with us. They do not share a bed. The cleanliness of the room was mediocre. The beds were clean as was the bathroom. The curtain to the balcony was dirty and there are what appears to be boogers on the wall behind a lamp. At 10:30, my husband went down to get the extra bed. The original woman went and got the bed. Then she didn't offer a blanket or pillow until my husband asked for them. We all had to stay up later to wait for this bed and she could have given it to us at check in. Ridiculous! There was melted ice cream left in the freezer as well. Not happy with the service at all.

  From the very polite and pleasant reception by the desk until the farewell at the checkout, my stay was great! The place is clean, beds comfortable, and room nicely set up with 2 queen beds. The only negatives (and this is very nitpicky), breakfast is the same lame breakfast as all hotels provide. Having a pancake machine rather than waffles was a nice change. There was plenty of all foods and the eggs and sausage were cooked well. There wasn’t an extra blanket in the room. I know I could have asked for one, but I was half asleep by then. I needed to keep my medication ice packs frozen and the desk receptionist happily put them in the hotel freezer so they were frozen solid again the next morning. There is a HUGE amount of places to eat all around the hotel. I felt safe staying here even as a senior traveling alone.

  It's located in a good area close to shopping and right off the highway. When we got there it took forever to get checked in because their system went down. We ended up having someone else come into our room because they double booked it. Thankfully we were there and someone didn't have free access to our stuff. They changed they deactivated our keys in case other people had them, which was nice. However, they didnt tell us that and we found out when our keys didnt work. Then we had to go to the desk to get new ones. We booked a room for 4 people and our room only had two towels in it. When we asked for more we were told we had to go to the front desk to get them. We ran out of toilet paper and not only did we have to go down to the desk to get it but they made my wife walk back and get it herself from a storage room. The rooms need an update and many things in our room were broken or in bad shape. The breakfast was good but it's the same thing every day so it got old quick.

  The good: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Moderately priced. Breakfast was simple, but of a better quality than at some hotels in similiar price catagory. The hotel was very clean. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance and a Chili's attached to the hotel that is very convenient. The not as good: The hotel could use a little freshening. It is older and sound proofing is not really adequate. We could clearly hear conversations in the next room unless the very noisy air conditioner was running. The mattress for me was too firm and the pillows very small for a king size bed. The TV was difficult for me to figure out, but I'm old so maybe that's the problem. Of note: Management needs to upgrade the front desk chairs for their staff. The crew on the desk was super friendly and helpful and I noticed the poor condition of their chairs. Do better for your staff!
