- EREmily R3 days ago5.0This is a cute little aquarium. Perfect place to kill some time or if you want to cool off and walk around. Keep in mind it takes only about 30 from start to finish but it is jam packed with fish. I highly recommend getting the package with LEGOland as you get more bang for your buck. The gift shop is cute and many affordable keepsakes. Definitely a cool place to check out while you’re in Kansas City!

Very disappointing driving a long distance to get here and spending only 20 mins to go through. Wish we would have spent our money elsewhere doing something else family oriented. $70 down the drain for 3 tickets. We definitely won’t be back.

They do give you free parking in the parking garage but it's unattended and the worker at the aquarium was unable to help us figure out how to get free parking. What they charged should've included Legoland as well!
- KWKevin WJul 29, 20263.0Our group was left feeling underwhelmed by Sea Life Kansas City Aquarium. If you are busy checking other things out and not sure of plans far in advance, the time demand pricing is pathetic and ends up ripping you off. The fluctuating pricing model for anything is ridiculous and a scam by the business doing so. Regarding the exhibits, they are small and some are definitely mislabeled. We've been to other aquariums that were much nicer, more interesting, and for the same cost we had to pay because of the fluctuating prices, $31/adult purchased online a few hours ahead of time through a third party to save a little bit. There were some interesting interactive exhibits. It took us less than 1.25 hours to go through the full museum and that was taking our time, reading things, and watching some of the fish for a while. If you are going to have to pay over $25/ticket, I would suggest looking for another activity to spend your time and money on. At least the parking cost is validated by the museum.

We are located on the south side of Crown Center Square at 25th and Grand Blvd. For the most convenient access, park in the Crown Center Parking Garage. We provide 6 hours of free parking with validation from our admissions desk.

SEA LIFE Kansas City is a cashless attraction. We accept all major credit cards and mobile payments (Apple Pay/Google Pay). If you only have cash, you can visit the Crown Center Guest Services desk to convert it into a gift card.
How do Combination Tickets with LEGOLAND® Discovery Center work?
Combo tickets grant entry to both SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND® Discovery Center (located next door). You must book a specific time for LEGOLAND, but you can visit SEA LIFE anytime on the same day or within 30 days of your visit. Note: Adults must be accompanied by a child to enter LEGOLAND.

No worries! If you miss your window, we will do our best to get you in as quickly as possible during the next available entry time, though there may be a short wait during peak periods.

Most families spend between 60 to 90 minutes exploring our exhibits. However, your ticket is for the whole day, so you can take as much time as you need to see the 180-degree Ocean Tunnel and Interactive Touchpool.
Is the aquarium stroller and wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the entire attraction is fully accessible for both wheelchairs and strollers. We do not offer rentals on-site, but the pathways are wide and smooth to accommodate all guests.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the aquarium. However, your ticket allows for re-entry, and Crown Center offers a variety of dining options just steps away from our entrance.
