  Victoria is awesome! She's funny and full of facts and this girl knows her city! She will make you feel like a friend with her awesome customer service! The room is super modern, cute and clean and the soaps smell nice. Right next to the riverfront, cute restaurants nearby and by some fun city events! Secluded but in the middle of it all.

  Our stay here was great! Front desk staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The rooms are great. They are clean and very comfortable. A pleasant surprise was that the street car is right there to hop on free of charge and it takes you all the way down to UMKC. So you can basically park and go see all the sites without having to deal with any traffic!

  Get HERE!!!!! This is a hidden Gem!!!! From day 1 Victoria and Seniya made sure we had everything we needed and more! This place is so calm and welcoming! And yassssssssssssss Soccer ⚽️ fans!!! Our room had the perfect view of the river and everything in it was made for our comfort. Don’t pull the curtains closed if you want to wake up early cause Woooow I slept soooo good! You don’t hear hallway noise and there is a fridge and coffee in the room . Get down to Show Pony and grab breakfast cause it is absolutely made with love. The hotel is located at the end of the StreetCar line and let me tell you! It’s perfect! We didn’t even need the car we rented because we could take the FREE streetcar right down main to the RiverMarket, Center Plaza, War Museum and more! This location is Perrreefect! Can’t wait to come back when we have more time to really enjoy KC !!!!

  I had a car full of things for a cross country trip and was worried about my car getting broken into but I quickly found out the area was pretty quiet and safe. All around this place was Safe, reliable, affordable + the staff was awesome to both me and my pup who I’m traveling with. Would absolutely stay here again. And it’s right by the river which is a lovely view.

  I had a great stay at the Origin Riverfront Hotel, and the staff deserves a special shoutout for being consistently kind and welcoming. Katie was wonderful, and Victoria deserves an extra mention for exceptionally warm service throughout my stay. She went above and beyond - from making sure my in-room requests were handled to sharing great local food recommendations and helping me navigate the streetcar system. A couple of things kept this from being a 5-star stay. Given the hotel’s somewhat remote location and limited walkable food options without a car, I would have loved to see the onsite restaurant open beyond dinner hours (4-10 pm). There’s a 24-hour snack bar, but more substantial food availability would make a big difference. I also found the decision to offer only five complimentary parking spots, despite having an open-air lot adjacent to the hotel, a bit disappointing. That said, the location has a major advantage: the streetcar is literally across the street, making it easy to connect to major north-south destinations throughout KC; from the developing Riverfront area all the way down to UMKC. Overall, a comfortable stay with genuinely exceptional hospitality. Victoria and the team made a strong impression!
