  I do my travels all over the country, but never have I ever felt so connected to nature. Truly, this is nothing compared to the great outdoors of the Catskills, the adorandaks, the portchupine moutaintains, or even the great yellow stome. When I arrived to my dwellings that Monsure prepared, for my log cabin have I discovered that my dormitory was truly of the earthly connected and beautiful landscape. The crinkle cut bath-tissues, were a nice touch. Although, I would’ve preferred it bugs bunny style. They even had a viewing platform to see the wild roaming wildabeasts! Anyways, when I set out for my hunt, I found some truly peculiar sights. For one, I was not prepared in the slightest to see the most rare, and truly once in a lifetime, Black Ground Squirrel. I also encountered the typical grey and brown squirrel as well. It was nice to see that all of the fauna was grass-fed and well kept and in high spirits! Yet, perhaps, my most peculiar encounter was with the wild Kansas flying pigeon. He was thought to be done. But, in fact, he was good! He re-inflated, and flew away. But, just make sure you steer clear of Samantha on the elevators. She keeps riding them late into the night and warns people of eating at the mountain lodge. I think she croaked of chocking on a tomato. Just ignore her. She’ll go away.

  Great hotel, great rooms, night staff ok, but efficient. Location if great except you’re on a busy road- lots of noisy night traffic

  Probably closer to a 4.5 star. One of the handful of retro style hotels in the area. Entry and lobby is really nice. Self parking is just around the corner in the garage if you want it, and there is a valet at the front if you want them to park it. The rooms are really nice, very spacious. We had a two-queen bed room, and there was plenty of space to unpack and spread out. Room and bathroom were very clean. Only downside: there is very little water pressure in the shower, and the showers do not have doors, so the floor will get wet. Otherwise, the bar in the lobby is the Dot Boss restaurant, which is good for breakfast, however they do not stay open very late in the evening for drinks (we had to go a few blocks to find a bar), and the selection of liquors was not much. Otherwise, the location is two blocks from the streetcar, so perfect to get north to the markets or Current stadium, and south to P&L, Union Station, Art Museums, and Plaza. So really, a great location.

  Fantastic Downtown Location and Wonderful Service! My wife and I stayed at Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown from September 26th through the 28th, and we had a wonderful experience. We arrived around noon planning only to drop off our bags, but were delighted that our room was already available for an early check-in. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We were assigned a lovely, quiet corner room with a great view of the Kansas City skyline. The hotel's location was ideal. Being just a few blocks from the streetcar made it easy for us to visit the Country Club Plaza art fair, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Thomas Hart Benton Home, and the riverfront. We also enjoyed having so many excellent dining options within walking distance. Thank you for a great stay. We look forward to returning the next time we visit Kansas City.
