We offer an outstanding location for both corporate and leisure travelers, conveniently situated next door to Worlds & Oceans of Fun Amusement Parks. Guests can also enjoy nearby gaming and entertainment at Ameristar and Harrah’s Casinos, just seven minutes away. The River Market, T-Mobile Arena, Power & Light District, The Crossroads, Hallmark Crown Center, and Union Station / Science Center are all easily accessible via the free Kansas City Streetcar. The Convention Center is a short ten-minute ride into downtown Kansas City. Our hotel delivers a fresh and welcoming experience, designed with the modern traveler in mind. IHG has incorporated the amenities guests value most, while also building with energy-efficient features to reduce environmental impact. We are the only full-service hotel on the northeast side of the I-435 loop, including the Liberty, Missouri area, offering more than 5,700 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. Guests also enjoy a 24-hour Fitness Center and an indoor pool. - NSNatalie SApr 15, 20261.0I have traveled for work the last 5yrs & always prefer to stay in holiday inns. I have never had a bad experience until now. I picked this one because it was only 1 exit away from the hospital I am working at. From the first impression I should’ve just turned around & left. As soon as I walked in the smell of marijuana was so strong it was nauseating & it lingered all the way up the floors/through the hallways. The room was clean…but there were multiple patch jobs in the bathroom & a huge crack in the shower. The first day or so was ok, so when I found out I needed to extend my stay 1 more night I went ahead & spoke with the front desk about doing so to insure I did not have to check out/in under a new reservation or pack my things to move rooms just for 1 day. I work nights(which requires me to book an extra night I am not even at the hotel because I leave that evening around 5p for work), my 2nd to last day around noon I woke up to maintenance working outside my room in the hall, when I got ready to take a shower I had 0 hot water, I asked them on my way out if whatever they were working on would cause that & they apologized & said yes but it was fixed now. The next day (the day that was added on) I received a knock on the door again around noon that was maintenance to work on the door handle. Shortly after I had a call from the front desk saying that I was passed check out time & needed to leave. I explained the situation that I had added a night & was assured when I did so that it would roll together, she said no I had to check out & back in. So I go down to the front desk where I am told that I do not have a reservation for that night & they were sold out so I had to leave. Turned out a night wasn’t added but I had been double booked for my original last night. They agreed to give me time to shower & pack my things. Go to take a shower…no hot water AGAIN. I had such high hopes for this location due to the proximity to my job but needless to say I will never step foot in this establishment again
