  This property is not worthy of the Holiday Inn brand. I was hit with a thick musty smell as soon as I entered the beat up room. Bed sheets were clean at least.

  DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL I spend 50+ nights per year in hotels, primarily Holiday Inn Express properties. I have never had more problems with a hotel. I canceled a reservation, was told it was canceled by IHG and the hotel General Manager. I was charged for not showing up. I have now spent 3-4 hours on the phone (most of the time on hold with IHG) trying to get the charge ($285) refunded. I call the hotel front desk, 75% of the time no one answers and have been given 3 different email addresses to ask for a refund from the General Manager. Have never gotten a response. Today IHG contacted the hotel and was told the GM is no longer there and they cannot refund anything without GM approval. A new GM will arrive in a few days. IHG to this point is unwilling to do anything waiting on the new GM. I have been run around in this process for 3 weeks now. Hotel at this point has stolen my money. Read other reviews about this place, wish I had before I ever booked the stay in the first place. Sounds like they have several issues other than stealing money.

  This is by far, one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. Just the quality of the hotel. The people were nice enough, and helpful each time, but just the conditions that the rooms are in. My coworkers tools got STOLEN out of the car in the parking lot in front. My water barely ran in the sink. It took about 5-10 minutes for the shower to get hot, the lights would flicker on and off any time I went to turn on the lights and my key card had to be reset EVERY DAY just to work. The breakfast each day was very minimal and super greasy. I would not recommend staying here at all.

  Don't let the name Holiday Inn mislead you. It is nowhere near what is expected of a typical holiday inn. Peeling wallpaper everywhere. Broken furniture. No one at front desk at check in for ten minutes finally called on phone and a man eventually showed up. Had to pantomime in order to communicate something I needed.

  Oh boy where do I start? The area, while close to the stadiums, has nothing around it for dining options. When I arrived I initially thought it was abandoned. The grass was long and the parking lot was empty except for some beat up cars at the door. When I entered reception it was dark. The older gentleman at the front desk was disinterested. The wallpaper was peeling, the floors looked dirty and the front desk was covered in stacks of paperwork. There were dirty food containers on the desk from his lunch. It was not a great first impression. He checked me in and gave me a first floor room. I asked if I could have a room off the first floor since I was traveling alone and I would prefer to not be on ground level. He told me it was quiet (no kidding no one was there) and I had to ask several times to be on an upper floor (only 3 levels) He opened a drawer with used key folders and searched for a 3rd floor envelope (why were they being re-used?) A younger gentleman arrived and the older man handed him the used envelope and walked away. The younger gentleman ended up getting my keys for me I went to the elevator and the hall had more peeling wallpaper, dirty walls and flooring. I got to the 3rd floor and the halls were filthy. Again peeling and frayed carpet My room smelled like someone had smoked in it I had booked 2 nights and I went down to speak with the front desk. The staff had changed and I told the younger gentleman I would be checking out early and I wanted to make sure I was refunded for the 2nd night on checkout. He said the manager would have to make that decision He told me he could change my room but it would take a lot more than that for me to stay another night I contacted IHG to tell them I was concerned about a refund for checking out early and Julie was helpful but could not get anyone at the hotel to answer the phone. She said it had been forwarded as expedited to the manager and he would contact me within 24 hrs (3 days later and I haven’t heard a peep) The room was ok but the bathroom was dated and there were stains in the shower that looked like rust coming through the tiles (??). There was no hot water and the furniture in the room was chipped and scratched The room didn’t have a safe for valuables fyi There were outlets but no cellular charging ports for devices so make sure you have an adapter I survived the night and went for breakfast. Bare offerings and they only had flavoured coffee mate for coffee. I asked if there was milk or cream and the lady working showed me the coffee mate. Sounds picky I know but not everyone wants flavoured coffee I checked out and the younger male at the desk wrote my room number down on a scrap of paper I asked for a receipt and he said the manager would have to do that. I asked when and he said when he came into work I called 2 days after checking out and the guy answered the phone “ya?” I asked if it was the Holiday Inn and he said “ya”. Maybe it’s me but at the very least he could have answered “Holiday Inn can I help you?” Maybe I woke him up He ended up emailing my receipt to me but would not refund the night I did not stay. They charge a $100 deposit for incidentals which I hope is refunded! This is not the quality I’ve always had at an IHG property and I booked near the airport for my second night and the two hotels can’t even compare Extremely disappointed .
