  I really wish I could leave a better review because the customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly, courteous, and genuinely tried to help, but unfortunately, the condition of the room made for a very disappointing stay. The room was filthy. The floors were so dirty that after walking around barefoot for just a short time, the bottoms of our feet were completely black. It's hard to feel comfortable when basic cleanliness is lacking. To make matters worse, the air conditioning stopped working Friday night, and the toilet also quit working that same evening. Having both the AC and the toilet fail at the same time made for an extremely uncomfortable night. The staff deserves recognition for their professionalism and kindness throughout the situation. The maintenance team was awesome and completely stellar. The hotel's housekeeping standards need significant improvement. Friendly employees can only do so much when the rooms are not clean and essential amenities aren't functioning. I hope management addresses these issues because the staff deserves a hotel that matches the level of service they provide.

  I asked for a room away from elevators but ended up directly beside it. Ac makes terrible noise, it smells musty. Does not look to be exceptionally clean. No chair to sit in except what seems to be an unstable cheap office type chair. And I mean, it works your core to sit in it and remain upright. I do not usually rate anything but this is just a lot.

  I thought it was pet friendly as it stated on google, but when we got there it was service animals only. We had to go elsewhere which was fine but wish it was listed more clearly online they are NOT pet friendly, as every other Holiday Inn express I have stayed in has been.
