  Ownership should take a long look at management. I stayed here for one night with 2 colleagues and was met with the worst service I’ve encountered of any hotel. THE STAFF WAS NOT ACCOMMODATING BUT RATHER COMBATIVE! They gave us a room key that did not work. Upon my colleague trying to obtain another room key, the desk associate stated his name was not on the room and he could not get a room key (the room was under my name). After showing verification of knowing me and verification that his car was parked in their lot with a permit that was attached to the room, they still refused to give him a key. Instead they called security and had him escorted out of the building. The next morning when I was questioning why they would not mention this policy when both of us checked in together the morning prior they threatened to charge us another night for not “getting out of their hotel”. An absolute disgrace of a business and a black eye to Holiday Inn. I will never be taking my business to any Holiday Inn again due to the garbage management and staff that this establishment has. Congrats, you not only kicked a man out on the street for the night but also lost a very valued customer.

  I came to kansas city all the way from cali to watch the FIFA world cup. When I arrived, they told me it required 21 to check in, I am only 20 year old but thank God they helped me and I finally checked in. Rooms are clean, hotel workers housekeep everyday. They are also very nice. Excellent 👍👍👍

  Our family came here for the FIFA world cup , the young lady that checked us in super nice, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was outstanding, all the staff was very helpful even your janitor he was so helpful and kind even talked sports with us our stay was great I would recommend this place to anybody. Thank you very much!!!

  For the most part everything was amazing! I loved the extra stuff for being an rewards member. HOWEVER... the food took 2 HOURS. I did ended up getting refunded for it but it was not even worth it. Great hotel to stay at just not to eat. It was cold in the middle and very bland.

  I arrived at the hotel at 2:26 pm after having booked the room since April 20, 2026. Upon arrival, I notified the room cleaner that the air conditioning was not working, and she very kindly gave me a fan at 5:30 pm after I had gone to the lobby several times. A mechanic arrived and changed the sensor and a few other things on the air conditioning. He told us to wait a while, but hours passed. The mechanic called to have a room put on hold to ensure that if the air conditioning didn't work, we would have a room available, but it seems that wasn't the case. It's 11:56 pm and a night that should have been super fun because of the Carin Leon concert was horrible. The manager never showed up and customer service was nonexistent. And I'm leaving at this hour to look for a hotel for me and my niece...horrible service and to see that we weren't the only ones, there were 2 other customers ...he says they'll give me my money back, but we'll see because I have a feeling they won't do anything, just like when they didn't fix the air conditioning in the room. On Friday, May 29th at 3:35 pm, the manager called me and said he was investigating what happened. I explained everything, and he asked me to delete this review because he would resolve the situation. Today is Wednesday, June 3, and they haven't called me back, nor have they refunded my money. I paid $336 for a room without air conditioning or windows for ventilation. I had to leave at almost midnight to find another hotel because I live in Iowa, and nobody did anything. So before booking, make sure the hotel is responsible for ensuring you have a smooth stay because this experience tells me I will never stay at a Holiday Inn hotel again. As of today, July 3rd, my money still hasn't been returned, so folks, think twice before booking at this hotel.
