  Rooms not ready by 3:00 check manager rude almost yell at me,lady in customer service real nice and polite thanks to her not to bad to wait till they had room ready!!

  Front desk always knocks on door an hour early even when I have a late checkout and I have do not disturb on the door. Otherwise a very nice, clean hotel.

  We were going to worlds of fun on opening day. We wanted to stay close by. The best Western was on sale this week so it was our choice. After a rough morning of driving the afternoon at the theme park was very nice. When we arrived at the hotel my online reservation was looked up and they gave me my room keys. There are no adjoining queens in the building so we got two rooms nextdoor. My older kids were happy for the privacy. The TV was new and welcomed me by name. The room was clean and there wasn't anything obviously broken. The bed is comfortable and big enough for two. After a nice dinner out, we went down to the pool. It was very crowded and needed a key to enter. Some of the kids playing were quite rowdy. My younger sons had a good time but the teens said the pool was too small for that many people. They walked next door for a soft serve. The Wendy's, Burger King and QuikTrip all just one parking lot away. We slept. A fire alarm at exactly 6am woke the whole building. We got up rushed the kids to put some shoes on and headed for the door. As we got everyone up and out they turned off the alarm. Someone had burned a bagel on the ground floor. It was apparently enough smoke to set off the entire building alarm and auto call the fire department. We are happy that the system works and that the method for exit was efficient and successful. It was not a prank and no one was hurt so no harm. I went down for breakfast around 7 and the options were the normal hot breakfast faire. Other then the absolutely delicious ham peppers and cheese omelette it was a plain cook it yourself waffle and a cup of yogurt and toast. With a slice of steamed ham or sausage. All were fine, but my gluten free partners options are extremely limited. She chose to sleep in and get breakfast elsewhere. The stay was affordable, clean, comfortable rooms, and very little interactions with staff. I am pleased with my stay.

  Room was absolutely disgusting. Every surface felt like it had a sticky film on it. The pillows on the bed were like small squares..very odd. Make up residue was all over the bathroom counter from the guest before. Please don’t waste your money or time on this place. Gross.
