  While checking in I was greeted and assisted by the front desk associate by the name of NaaNaa. She was very informative and helpful, even with a busy lobby she got everyone checked in quickly. I will be returning

  We stayed at this property for one night to go a Royals game. The location was close to the stadium. The outside of the hotel could use some attention but the room was clean and quiet. We never ran out of hot water and the pressure was good. The beds were comfortable and again the room was quiet. We didn’t use the pool. The buffet breakfast was what you expect from this level of hotel, mediocre. We weren’t pleased that throughout the property we could smell marijuana.

  Unfortunately, my experience at Best Western was disappointing due to manager being unresponsive when issues occurred in his property. During the night after a sport event multiple vehicles had been broken into and had belongings stolen, including mine. While using the property parking amenity provided to us, they stated “they aren’t responsible” because they had multiple signs around the parking area. Which is false they have only two signs and they weren’t visible. One was behind a pillar at the hotel entrance and the other on trash area that can be obstructed by view if a vehicle parks there. After mentioning this issue to the front desk, they attempted to get ahold of their supervisor and mentioned they will reach back to me. Customer service stated that he did, but truly did not since it was their day off they weren’t resolving issues. Receptionist mentioned that this issue occurs very often and that the hotels CCTV cameras only covers partial of the parking lot. Which is frustrating, I traveled from Minnesota with my wife and 4 month old son. Due to possible safety hazards when driving back, I was requesting compensation. They denied. So if you’re thinking of staying here and bringing a vehicle be aware of posible outcomes.

  I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. I arrived in town for my brother’s funeral they canceled my reservation after I advised the front desk I would be in town towards the middle of the night and offered to pay for my room ahead of check in I was told I didn’t need to do that they would leave a note for the next person. No note was left of the time I advised I would arrive. The lady at the front desk was more concerned with the conversation she was having on her phone while it was on speaker. Then she told me all the rooms were sold but come back around 10/11am and she could get me a room in no way shape or form was I interested in spending money with them at this point. I emailed the general manager NO RESPONSE I work in public service nobody is that busy they can’t respond to an email. I almost missed my brother’s funeral. This was my first time in Kansas City I WILL never recommend this hotel to anyone. I’ve traveled all over the country this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

  Horrible, horrible horrible do not ever go there. The general manager Adam Carlson is a horrible horrible person. We paid for four nights he canceled it down to two me and my kids are dealing with mold in our home which means we had to go to a hotel, we chose this one because we thought it was wonderful and nice. It’s not it’s horrible. They treated my kids like shit. They threw our food away. I have a receipt that I paid $500 and I also have a recording how rude Adam is to me telling me to get out and he’s not giving me my paperwork. The place is horrible long as he worked there it will continue to be horrible. I never in my years of life, nursing years of life, seeing a Horrible person with the worst customer service in the world. I will honestly say I am going to get on Facebook and make the video go viral of how he talk to people. I just don’t understand how you spend your heart working on earned money just to be treated like crap. Maybe it’s just Black people. I’m not Sure, but I do have a recording of Adam horribly speaking to me. The fact that you are replying to my Comment and the fact that you are Taunting to me after I am expand to a midlife crisis. You’re laughing in my face thinking it’s funny. Well, I’m gonna show you that you will not get the last laugh Adam you’re very disrespectful. You laughed in my face. You thought it was funny. You put me and my kids food out close out and we have proof that we stay until the time we pay four days and you put us out in two the fact that you humiliating my kids I will make sure this go viral on Facebook of how you talk to me and you’re the general manager of a international worldwide hotel so since we’re taunting people and they’re going through things I’m gonna make sure you don’t do this to no one else Adam I’m gonna make sure you go viral for how you talk to me as a general manager, you told me it was not their job but in reality, it was your job and you failed us
