We left a pillow on the bed that we wanted, returned to us, but we’ve already traveled too far away from the hotel when we remembered. I called the front desk. I was given a link to a website to put in the information to have it returned to me. Except when I looked at the prices to return $100 pillow, it was in the $800 range for shipping it back to my house. I called the front desk back and asked to review what was going on. Why was it so expensive? He miscalculated the dimensions. I asked for a manager to review what was put in and he said he was the only manager as the front desk agent. Then he went, and he updated the dimensions to something closer to the pillow, And their website still wanted to charge over $300 to ship it from the hotel to my house. This feels like extortion. And further, the man blew me off when I asked to speak to the manager of the property. I get it mistakes are made, and that will come with a cost. But extortion is a completely other business.
