  Poor customer service! I reserved three rooms with double queen beds approximately 1 month prior to my stay at the Candlewood Suites. I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 pm on the day of my reservation to see if I could check in early (check-in is at 3pm). I was told that the cleaning staff was still cleaning my rooms and an early check-in would not be available (not a problem). The receptionist told me to come back at 3 pm (check-in time listed on my reservation). While driving back to the hotel at 2:55 pm, I receive a call from the hotel that the room type I booked is not available! I have no idea what the receptionist is talking about because I have reservation details that state I have three rooms booked with double beds. When I arrive back to the hotel at 3:00 pm, none of the rooms are available because they are still being cleaned. The staff again tell me that one of the rooms I booked is not even a room type and if I am dissatisfied I can just cancel my reservation and book at a different hotel (again, this is the day of my check-in). I have an event at 5:00 pm that day and I can't book anywhere else. The rooms were finally available around 3:45 pm (one room was a single queen and not a double as I had previously booked and paid for). 1. If the room type was unavailable at this hotel, how was I able to book the room type when I called last month and spoke with someone and booked the room? 2. If the room type was unavailable, why didn't the hotel tell me that at 1:30 pm when I arrived early? Why did they wait until my check in at 3:00 pm? 3. Why weren't my rooms ready at check-in at 3:00 pm? The hotel was not busy and was not at capacity. I have stayed at many hotels throughout my life. This hotel had the worst customer service. The rooms were clean though. I called the director of sales prior to writing this review to try to handle my frustration with the hotel w/o posting a review.

  Very rude people someone named Kayla? I will never be using this hotel chain again. I am dealing with illness right now and needed help with the reservation. They had zero empathy and zero patience. Do not recommend

  This hotel wouldn't allow me to stay there I was in a crisis because my house is just burnt down and they said they refuse to rent a room to a local if I live within a hundred miles since I lived in the neighboring town I could not rent a room at this crappy place

  I'm here right now and this place is clean full kitchen new appliances The shower heads are really cool dove soap dish detergent stove dishes. Coffee pot tea mugs feels like my First Apartment as a newlywed cozy clean super charming the bedding was clean white bleach smell on point CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!!!! I hope they keep this up and don't fall off! Today y'all get five Stars from me because I'm a germafobe and ALL I CARE ABOUT IS CLEAN! I've been in some horra hotel's and suffered from hotel PTSD LBVS and this one is far from it the presentation is nice and spacious! You all passed the test! Great Price!!! Close to everything! Kind of in the cut private trees and back road situation.
